If theyíre living paycheck to paycheck working for AT&T, why donít they give them a $5,000 bonus? Or $10,000. Or how about pay them enough they donít have to live paycheck to paycheck?

Why arenít you mad they are getting paid so little they have to live paycheck to paycheck?

He didnít have to do **** with the savings. He could have kept it but he gives some of it back things that will make meaningful impact in his employees life and youíre basically like who gives a **** itís just chump changes

Do you expect them to give everyone 20,000 dollar raises or some ****?

Giving 200,000 employees a 5,000 dollar raise would cost 1B dollars

The CEO of AT&T made $28.4 million last year, a 13.1% increase from 2016. Thatís a $3.7 million raise.

AT&T said itís giving a $1,000 bonus to 200,000 employees.

Thatís .05% of what he got for a raise alone in 2017, let alone how much AT&T will save from the new tax bill.

You are saying a CEO is generous for giving back .05% of his raise to workers, get the **** out with that.
Your math is so wrong on that

Obviously not but expecting a company to give out 1B dollars in raises is foolish. Thereís other things they can look to spend money on or invest back into the business

Itís $200 million (youíre right my math was off). $200 million is .015% of their net profits in 2016.

    True.

They also could have not laid off a bunch of workers too. Guess we should be thankful they didnít lay off more.

Yeah, those other positions are sales jobs that pay far less than their previous jobs.

But again, they should be thankful AT&T has deigned to give them a job at all...
