Per Mike Florio, Bucs expected to sign TJ Ward. Would be a great signing. I wasent big on the idea of trading for him, but signing him for a couple mil less and not having to give up any pick for him, is appealing

I can't believe we are a week away. Sorry about the previous post. I didn't realize it was mentioned elsewhere

So apparently the deal is 1 year 4 million with the ability to go up to 5 million with incentives.

I loved the signing before but it's cheap, low risk/high reward for a player of his caliber. Much better deal for us than the Haden deal was for Pittsburgh.

Very real chance the game gets moved up due to hurricane, probably Friday but Thursday or Saturday are possibilities.

They are saying that Miami is preparing as if it will be Friday. As much as I would like the game to get moved up for my own excitement, this could be somewhat of a disadvantage to the visiting team!

It's as close as possible not a huge issue. Bucs are prepared for it too.

I'd rather it be Friday or Thursday than on our shared bye week or on Sunday halfway across the country.

This whole thing is complete ********. They better not cancel the game and move to our bye week. Move to a neutral site. I need Bucaneers football this weekend

It's a bummer - things have to be kept in perspective regarding what's important, but, selfishly, the situation sucks.

Wife and I got tickets to the game, flights, place to stay, and a trip planned to Disney for our daughter. We moved recently and fought to keep our vacation days with new employers - been looking forward to this all year.

Instead we are hosting friends of ours who are evacuating Miami and making the trip up to our place.

Hope everyone stays safe down there; as far as football, I think the Bucs have the fortitude to use whatever happens as motivation.

The game has been officially rescheduled for Week 11 in Miami.

I want everybody to stay safe but this is a joke. 14-15 other NFL stadiums not being used.

Playing 16 straight games while 30 other teams don't is a nightmare.

There are clearly bigger things than a game right now and I hope everyone is safe, but 16 straight is brutal and freaking joke. We had the perfect bye week Jets right before it and after a crucial game against Atlanta. I had heard that the players actually didn't want the game to be played at a mutual site. Still very upsetting.

Jets are pretty close to a bye week.

This does suck but if there are some pros to take out of it its 1) Ward gets more time to know the system 2) players like Kwon, Evans and other dinged up guys have some rest 3) and we have 2 weeks to prepare for the Bears...no excuse to not win that against them.
