Sounds like things are still a bit fluid and it depends how we fill out the roster, whether it's 2nd rounders, vet minimums, undrafted guys and so on, but realistically we may only have part of the mid level. Unless we get a really good group of vet mins, I'd think we'll probably split the MLE and try to get 2 guys at like $4 mill each. I think the BAE is out since we likely can't use it all. Makes sense to push the BAE to next year.
Do we get the full MLE or is it the tax payer MLE at like $5 Mil?

Just need warm bodies. Not even sure if we have the money to fill out roster. Maybe by adding several 2nd round pick players at $900 k each, it would allow us to use the tax payer MLE and BAE, but probably won't have a full roster either.
Even with Rolo opting out? Cant we have like under the table agreement with the contract to Bogdan till we land somebody first day of free agency for the MLE or BAE? The S&T be the only thing taking away the MLE or BAE.

Just read an article from BrewHoop I think. It said our 7 players plus dead money was like $123.3 Mil, add in 2 2nd round picks at $900K each and 5 vet minimums at $1.6 Mil each would leave us $5.7 Mil which is the tax payer MLE, so yes, we can add one more good player who wants to chase a ring and is willing to take the $5.7 Mil we have available.

I doubt he'd settle for minimum, unless he wants to play with his brother and win a ring. That would be awesome.

I wonder if Jae Crowder would come for the $5.7 MLE? Would love to add a guy like him that can guard any forward and most Centers for the small ball lineup. It would be nice if Wes would come back too. We don't need more scoring, but defense is critical.

So we need 3 rotational players that can give us some minutes in the playoffs. It's possible with 2 2nd round picks at $900 k each and 5 vet mins at $1.6 Mil each, that we'd have the $5.7 Mil tax payer MLE available under the hard cap. So who does everybody like for the 3 players to play in the playoffs? I'd like Jae Crowder as a defensive specialist to play the 3, 4 and small ball 5, if he'd take the MLE. Miller mentioned Justin Holiday, that would be a great fit as well. Jeff Teague as a backup PG. Either of the Morris brothers. Avery Bradley?

We don't need scorer's, we need defense and smart players. Don't have the money for Gallinari or Joe Harris or Dragic.

This team needs a guy like Wes who is going to guard best someone or Jae Crowder to guard someone so GA doesn't have to like Jimmy Butler....that is unless Bud wants to get cooked in playoffs again lol. This team needs a backup PG and a wing like Jae/Wes to do the dirty work defensively. I am looking at 2nd round picks right now to see who I might like.

Some potential names could be Lamarr Stevens from Penn St. a 6-7 wing. Naji Marshall from Xavier, a long 3 and D type; Markus Howard flyer? Cassius Winston could be a guy to play some backup PG minutes. Josh Hall another wing.

If Killian Tillie is available, I think he is the perfect difference maker at pick 42. His injury history is horrible, but he has closing 5 potential, even on this team. If he plays 2 games in each series, those will likely be 2 wins. He'd instantly be the best shooter on the team. I don't know how bad his meds look, but if he could play 30 games per year and half the playoff games, he'd be a difference maker. Think of Brolo who shoots 10+% higher from 3.

Tillie athleticism zapped by injury but he is still pretty legit as far as shooting. I just don't know of other bigs who could be available...An Oturu or Reed might fall there. Reed is really athletic. Disliked idea of him at 24 but at 42....OK. I think possible too a lot of bigs are going to be gone so could go with long young wings...Hall, Kenyon Martin Jr. and Winston or Prichard potentially as backup PG. Skylar Mays or Mason Jones as bench scorer. Then use MLE on Favors if bigs are all gone in draft that the Bucks like.

I'm curious to see how we do it. You dont need to spend the full exception on 1 guy either. So theoretically, instead of all vet minimum at $1.6 and 1 guy at $5.7, you could do soemthing like 1 guy at $4 mill and another at about $3.3 (the $1.6 vet min plus the $1.7 left over from the exception). Depending on who's available, I think that might be a better option. I think of our main backups, we need to get a solid guard, most likely one who can handle the rock at least a little and a stretch 4 type who can allow giannis to slide down to C in small ball lineups. Those are the two spots I'm really interested in for whatever we spend the MLE type of money on.

Like I said before. I'd leave a roster spot or two open for late season buyouts. Them are decent ring chasers. Can do 10 day contracts near the end of the season. I believe 13 is the bare minimum for a roster for rules.

We may have more cap wiggle room now since we traded two future seconds for #42 from the Magic. So Bucks have 3 second round picks to fill end of the bench or G-league after tonight's draft.

    OJ Mayo anyone?

I believe he mentioned he had unfinished business after the ban and wanted to comeback to Milwaukee. Vet minimum why not?

Sounds like Gallinari to the Hawks for free agency once the buzzer hits. According Kevin O'Connor. Glad he didn't go to the Heat.

You need the full 15 to use 2 way contracts. With covid and the potential for guys to be out, I think they'll have a full roster of 15.
