Brunson is an ascending defensive stud currently averaging 13 ppg off the bench with close to a 50/40/90 shooting splits. Hardaway could replace Kash with the downgrade not that noticeable.

A starting 5 of Brunson, Holiday, Hardaway, Giannis and Brook looks pretty good to me.
I'll rather trade Middleton to the Bulls for Lavine and a trade exception and then send Donte, Pat C, Lopez and Dj Wilson to the kings for Barnes and Holmes. At least Giannis would have a running mate that would bring it every night. This team need coaches to prevent laziness in Holiday and Middleton and stop playing inconsistent guys so much like PatC and Augustine. Heck everyone play that way except Giannis.

Daikite is another guy that deserves a shot in a meaningful game. There is a chance that he might be better than Portis in a couple years if given some opportunity. If you have these guys on your team, they should all get 10 or 15 minutes of meaningful basketball in 3 or 4 games in a meaningless regular season. The time to do it is now, not in the last 20 games of the season, when we're trying to get ready for the playoffs.
I totally agree! I think all 3 can bring some positive play and excitement to the game. I never seen a team in the league treat a 6pg player (PatC) like a star more than the Bucks. He gives good interviews but that don't add to wins. Its always him, Giannis, Middleton and Holiday given most interviews. It's like interviewing Caruso, LeBron and Davis every game. And Caruso screaming leader of the Bench Mob and he isn't even the best player on the bench

That sounds lame to me. I'm sure Giannis would be getting moody blues and be asking for a trade then. Bucks need to be adding to our core of Giannis,Middleton,Holiday trio. Use DDV,Lopez,Wilson,Augustin,Craig and any left over junk picks and hope for the best. Then with the extra roster spots find vet minimum vets to fill the bench. Yeah that junk platter isn't much. May need a third team. Cause most likely the team that wants DDV and or Wilson is a tank team. Third team eats our vets like Lopez and or Augustin.

Only bad part about trading Brook is he's the only legit center. Yeah Giannis and Portis can play some center. But still would need another cheap center. I wouldn't mind Wayne Ellington. I think one of you suggested that a page back. Ellington is on a cheap $1.6M expiring deal. Not sure if Wilson and Pacers second round pick be enough. Or Craig and Pacers second for Ellington? Also basketballinsiders mentions Spurs are listing to offers for Mills,DD,Aldridge,Gay. I wouldn't mind Mills. Mills is a expiring $13.5M contract.

Muscala $2.2M for Wilson $4.5M and a second round pick works for the Bucks and trims payroll to not pay the tax.

Not saying Thunder go for it though. They may get greedy and want two second round picks. But trimming payroll and little extra cap for vet minimum like you mentioned.

Also we need a better third option guard after Holiday and DDV. Augustin and Forbes isn't that exciting. Or a upgrade of Lopez or DDV. But we don't have the assets for any upgraded starters really. Unless were breaking Middleton up in a trade. But doubt Giannis would be pleased with that at all. It have to be kinda like the old Jennings trade for Knight and Middleton more less.

My guess Bucks gave a advance warning we decided to go with Mamadi Diakite? Bucks brought him up from G league. So Ersan then signed with Jazz.

I really like your plan of going all in and try to upgrade the roster. However let's not forget PatC. That's close to 5mil!

Trading Middleton might be the key to success. He play to lazy. We need guys that are aggressive every game. I would try to use him to go after Lavine. At least Lavine brings it every game and I think he would be a perfect 2 option that can be a 1 any night. This trade alone would inject juice in our team instantly. We then have more money or trade chips or both to swing a deal for Barnes or Derozan or TJ Warren, Lamb or Beasley. Then pick up some vets like Boogie, IT or/and Drummond or any other notable bought out candidates. Besides Giannis and the rookies this team is full of inconsistent low end players and two lazy 2 and 3 options.

6'9" Diakite been promote to active roster from G league. He's exciting what I seen from the tapes. Not sure of a bigger plan in the works of a trade of Wilson maybe as a toss in salary filler or Brooks. Who knows. I hope not Portis.

Diakite exciting probably because of Bucks f-ing up and Wood becoming a stud. I think Diakite is pretty good but not like C. Wood. I don't think the Bucks will swing a big deal at the deadline. but if they can unload BroLo in the offseason they absolutely must do it. He looks close to washed and they can get a solid player in return you'd think. BroLo is still pretty valuable but just seems to be laboring more this year. Never fast obviously but looks really slow now.

Bucks sign Axel Toupane to a two way contract.
