Jim Bob is now RB coach for Jets where Gase brought in another coach that testified in court against their DC Greg Williams LOL.

Caldwell is in Miami now. Brian Callahan former lions QB coach is now the Bengals OC

Saw an interesting article about how every Lions coach that goes to another team ends up taking a demotion of some sort. To go from being a person that the NFL spoke highly of and a HC for the future, Jim Bob is now coaching the RBs for the Jets.....

    He's a good DC.He's always been a good DC.

It's funny that good DCs and OCs are the ones that get promoted to HC when in reality the skills for those jobs are pretty different. I don't have a better solution for the hiring process, but it still remains interesting to me.

Agree, but canít we assume all head coaches were Oc/DC at some point?

I think you kind of have to, but there are so many failures of "genious D-coordinators/O-coordinators". The hiring process should probably look at the head coach hiring process differently. It feels like if you're the guy that says stuff like the below examples then you get the job.

    Gotta get to work
    Play hard
Never look ahead of next week
    be tough
    run hard

these guys get the jobs and they never say anything. They don't prove to anyone that they actually know what they're talking about.

You've got to give up assets to get him. I don't know what his trade value is, but I don't think I'd be willing to give up what Brown's worth. It's too much of a risk.

Dallas traded a first for cooper. My guess is that is where the negotiation would start.
