Can you imagine James and Simmons as our safeties? All that speed athleticism and power from two young stud safeties? Both can support the run, bkth have range, james hits way harder but both can lay the wood and make plays on the ball.
    I like it...
I want the Broncos to keep Talib. He’s still got that swagger the defense needs. I like the moxie he brings

Let the offense be a “work in progress,” fix it through the draft. But spend $$ on Defense. Again Broncos miss Malik and Trevathon badly. Paxton has the tools, my gut feeling is if the Broncos surround him with a good oline and some weapons he can excel. But he can’t be running for his life
Idk. The defense was still pretty great considering. Red zone scoring was awful and forced turnovers too, but they still finished top 5 in rushing and passing. The offense screwed them over so bad. Turnovers in our territory, pick 6s, 3 and outs, always playing from behind, largely losing time of possession. I believe Von finished as PFF’s edge rusher, but you sure wouldn’t know it by sacks/tackles.

We want to fix the D, you go balls out on the offense this offseason. We get a mediocre QB and a top 20 offense, the D is top 2-3 imo.

The thing about getting rid of talib is who replaces him? Langley I don't think is ready yet. He has the attributes but heI was incredibly raw coming out last year but I do love thr size speed and decent hips

There are still missing pieces on the defense that needs addressed like another ILB, another pass rusher from the edge, another CB if talib leaves, and we could use another safety to pair with Simmons and James would take this defense too another level.

I think the offensive issue's get fixed alot if we can get a offensive line playing at a hugh level.

And I think that statement is true for every team struggling on offense. It's not that easy.

Yeah it's not easy but it takes a frint.office getring serious about there OL to get it right. We are close right now with bolles, leary McGovern and paradis, we need a RT and we should have a solid OL. And I happen to believe in lynch and Kelly so if we give them a OL somebody will emerge as a franchise quarterback.

Looks like lynch will get his shot unless we do the unexpected and draft somebody @ 5 which I hope doesn't happen.

But im all in on Barkley or James @ 5.

What in the hell makes you believe in Lynch and Kelly? Honestly, I have more faith in Kelly than Lynch, and that is saying A LOT!

And Id be doing back flips if we draft Barkley. But not without securing the QB position first.

Look I've been the biggest Lynch supporter out there. I think the fans have been incredibly hard on him. That said, when you aren't willing to put in the work to be the starting QB, your don't deserve to be given the spot. Lynch has not assumed leadership, is not in his playbook enough, and doesn't understand that he's got to be setting an example for everyone else. Part of that is the Broncos fault because they never gave him a vet backup to show him what he needs to do at the NFL level, but it's also on him because he has been lazy thus far in his career.

If the Broncos sign Cousins, they're done with Lynch.

If the Broncos draft a QB top 5, they're saying that Lynch has to blow them out of the water in training camp in order to start.

If the Broncos draft a QB in the second round, they're saying that from what they've seen in the off-season, they think Lynch finally gets it and he will start.

I don't think the organization is as ready to move on from Lynch as the fans are. But I do think they aren't happy with him and his leash is very short.

I actually agree with you here. I think Lynch did enough to impress the coaches. I think he is on a very tight leash and his offseason will be the determining factor. I don't think Elway is dumb enough to ignore the Cousins, Smith, Taylor. He will do his research and see if they can be had. I would prefer Cousins over Paxton but I am not sure anyone else. It will come down to did/will Paxton show Elway enough to let him be the starter?

I don't want Smith or Taylor over Lynch tbh. If it's between those 3, I'd rather Lynch actually get a shot to be the guy.

Denver will go after Cousins. If they don't get him, they will turn to draft nabbing one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield.

If they nab Cousins, look for Nelson, Smith, or Barkley. They are not as high on Derwin or Minkah as Draft Media is right now (although Derwin is slipping).

Lynch has had 5 starts, he's in year 3 and was projected to need at least two year's before hed be ready to start making an impact. The fact that he looked miles better than he did from the week 12 start too week 17 says he Is putting in the work.

Believe what you want mg but it's evident the kid has been working hard.

There is no way James could be slipping lol. Dude is going to blow away the combine showing the physical specimen he is too go with the game tape.. When he checksin at 6'3 225 runs a 4.3 there's no slipping there my friend. Sorry.

watch. He is suffering from Jabrill Peppers syndrome. Struggled at pure S looks but not big enough for pure LB. FSU shoulda let him stick at one position and grow because his instincts at S right now low and S is one of those positions where if you are a tick slow or your hips/feet are off, you will be exposed.

I love derwin the athlete, i would take him top 15, but I'm telling you right now many scouts I have spoken w/ have him late round 1 because of the issues I listed.
