Is there something wrong with this?

    http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/07/26/...k-jawun-evans/

3.5 mill to the sixers for the 39th pick and 2 million to the bucks for the 48th pick... Something just feels wrong with this in all honesty.

I am fairly certain players dont even make that much on their rookie deal being picked that late but a team can throw money at another team for their services?

Bucks sold a extra second round pick previous draft to the Warriors for a haul as well.

yes, there is something wrong with it. as the article author mentioned, the better off a team is the more flush with cash they are and more likely to do it. hopefully it will be addressed now that teams are paying huge amounts to acquire them.

It doesn't happen often, but 1st round picks can be purchased as well ... and what's more, the money doesn't count against the cap on either side of the deal. It's just a straight up cash purchase.

How would this be a problem? It is way more restrictive than it use to be under the new CBA as there is a cap now on how much you can spend a year which there wasn't in the past...

another PSD scandal for the uninformed

Warriors buying Jordan Bell was so savvy. I hate it.
