I fully support this, his bombing and justification of bombing Syria and Iran were ridiculous and unconstitutional, so were bombings by previous admins.

So limiting the Presidents authority in this way is a good step. Though the fact that the White House didn't even use Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) as a defense of its actions suggests they may continue to act in this way in the future.

That said, the AUMF powers of the Executive Branch have increased dramatically over the years, and this change is a long time coming.
