Traditionally your power guys are at 3B/1B/LF/RF

Assuming this is because you can be bigger, stronger and slower and still be successful. Growing up in the 60's and 70's this was the conventional thinking.
It may not and probably isn't exactly the same now as your typical baseball player is more of an athlete now then they were before. It matters because it used to be the way is was, it doesn't matter because you and most of the other posters here either weren't around back then or simply don't care. Does that make sense?
