After all the years Lopez put in with the wasteland that is (now) the Brooklyn Nets, I don't ever remember reading about him being a complainer. It's gotta be almost surreal for him to be playing in LA, even if the team itself has been ******* for years.
I hear he actually loves it in Brooklyn despite the lack of W's. It's been rumored that after this season he may resign with them.

    Careful....

You start talking like that, and there will be fifty threads about how the Lakers are stupid if they let Lopez walk for nothing, and anybody could flip him for eight first-round picks blah blah blah....

Here's hoping Luke makes him feel at home, and Brook wants to stay.

I know there is no point to tank, I was just saying since the team is still very weak to compete for Playoffs; the west is just too deep. May be next year if we can get PG and maybe Westbrick.

I have a question about the 2018 1st round pick ? Is there any chance of the Lakers retaining that pick ?

Lakers 2018 first most likely belongs to Philly.

We definitely do not have a 1st round pick in 2018.

If it is #1 overall it goes to PHI
If it is #2-5 it goes to BOS
If it is #6-30 it goes to PHI
