I'm just not a big fan of Irving. I think his ball dominant tendencies would hurt Joker's offensive game. We definitely could use an upgrade at PG but Irving isn't really a fit IMO. Someone like Mike Conley, who's a good defender, shooter, and passer would be perfect if he was to ever become available.

I love Kyrie. He's not going to demand the ball at all times. Yes, he wants to be THE guy but he's not stupid enough to give up easy points (which is what he will be getting if he plays through Jokic). Every scorer wants to score...why give up an opportunity to score more and in a easier fashion just so you can have the ball more?

Kyrie is that late in the game option where we NEED to get a bucket and we have to find someone to go to. He fits that role very well. Jokic is not there yet with that.

Jokic makes everyone better....how will that not apply to Kyrie? Who's already damn good which one could say a top 10 player in the league

With all of that said....I shutter to think of the package we would give up. I love Gary Harris. I love Jamal Murray. I think Murray will be special...and Harris is such a valuable glue guy that you must have for a play-off run.

We've been so desperate to add a superstar that I think Denver will, again, get too ballsy in their package to snag a guy like Irving.

Already packaged Gary Harris to try to get Paul George..who is a one year rental. We could give up 6 years of Murray to get 2 years of Irving? Maaaan..

We already had the number 1 offense without Kyrie, the only thing he helps with is a late game option. Although without Gallo we should improve. Gallo was terrible in late game scenarios. He tried flopping his way to the line.

Kyrie provides zero defense which is our struggle. Nelson D >>Kyries D.

    Thats how bad he is.

Loving what the Nuggets are doing this off-season. Drafting Micheal Porter Jr, Vanderbilt...followed by trading Darth, Faried and Ill Will to get under the luxury tax...and then...signing IT for the vets minimum.

Other notable move were signing Jokic long term plus locking up Barton and resigning Torrey Craig.

We have the makings of an amazing offense....one that can rival what Golden state can do.

However, the defense looks to be as weak as how the amazing the offense would be.

If IT can return to form...this squad may take off.

Yup. I give Connelly an A+ for this off season. I believe our first round pick next year that we gave up is top 12 protected... So if we **** the bed next year (Most likely because of bad coaching), we don't have to suffer.

Hard to find a flaw with what we’ve done this offseason. We also have flexibility next offseason, with the option to decline Millsaps 30M option if he doesn’t play well or we can go after star like Jimmy Butler(Demarious Thomas was openly recruiting him, even tho that likely means nothing). I love our depth chart at the moment, hopefully Juancho gets a shot at being the backup SF.

    Murray/IT/Morris
    Harris/Craig/Beasley
    Barton/Hernangomez/Porter
    Millsap/Lyles/Vanderbilt/Lydon
    Jokic/Plumlee

If we do move on from Millsap, I like how Lyles, Juancho, Vanderbilt, and Lydon all fit next to Jokic.

Depth chart is as solid as you can get. Biggest issue is the second line and where the scoring comes from...that's where IT comes in.

Lyles was playing some good basketball until Millsap came back and he was bumped from the rotation. With Chandler gone, Lyles will almost certainly be integrated in our rotation.

The key piece will always be Jokic. If IT is anywhere near healthy...IT and Jokic is the best PG/big man combo in the league. I'm not even exaggerating..they both compliment each other's game to a T. Team's will be pulling their hair out just trying to stop that...which they won't be able to because there are always going to be shooters on the floor and once you rotate out to stop that...that leaves the lane wide open for IT to feast for easy buckets.

Or if they want to single up Jokic...he can simply do his thing.

Again, I'm not sure how we're going to stop anybody but if we put effort and intellect out there...I'm sure we'll be able to get stops. We just have to want it enough.

Jimmy Butler on this squad would make us utterly amazing...though it will create a log jam at 3 unless we see Porter Jr as more of a 4. Getting rid of both Millsap and Plumlee will certainly free up the funds to make it happen. It's completely plausible.

Porter keeps saying he is the healthiest he has been since high school. Either way this is the most excited I have been for a season. We got the power to be a top 4 seed. The west is crazy good too. IT comes back healthy we got a solid bench. If he doesn’t the bench will struggle.

I expect IT to play with a chip on his shoulder, playing for that contract that he didn't get last time. However, we still have a potential for a strong bench with Juancho, Lyles, MPJ and even Beasley and Morris can provide some scoring. Plumlee and Vanderbilt (if healthy) can be looked at for their defense so there can be some balance as well.
