i have a good feeling about him.

First he worked on his catching and was open to guidance. From what I hear he is doing much better.
This came at the expense of his hitting but he retained a good OBP%.

Now he is on a hitting streak.

Looking at our Top 30 prospect list........updated...........I can see at least 20 players with a better than average shot of making the Big Show. That is really good..........

Lucas Giolito tossed seven shutout innings on Tuesday for the Knights in their 4-1 win.

Some real talent on that list, not sure I see 20/30 but that would be fantastic.
The Sox are definitely on the upswing in the minors, next years draft should be rally good too based upon position.

I think Lopez will be next followed by giolitto. Maybe start in pen and start a couple of games to get some experience

With already the best farm system in baseball were going to add a top 3 pick to that, Im hoping we draft the BPA hitter, ideally someone who will be ready in 2019/20.

What's everyone's thoughts on Nick Madrigal. I don't really trust Tim Anderson to be our SS of the future. He K's a ton, he doesn't steal enough bases, he doesn't walk, and he isn't even a great defender. Madrigal is our high average, low K guy with speed. He'd be a perfect top of the order guy. Madrigal/Moncada/Burger/Abreu in 2/3 years.

Anderson is having a rough sophomore year. I'm thinking he gets another shot in '18, because why the hell not and if he doesn't improve then SS becomes an area of need. He might be a pretty decent CF'r.

Ok, I read that..........I'm not big on HS guys ,but, another stud pitcher is fine.............and I agree that SS should not be willed to Tim Anderson......

With that said, what is more of a need than SS at this point. We have an extremely deep OF in the minors now. We don't need a 2B. We just drafted a 3B in the 1st round and 1B in the 2nd. Our SP in the minors is extremely deep.

I agree Tim Anderson gets another full season as our starter, and maybe 2 full seasons. We aren't exactly going for wins this year or the next 2. But with a top 10 pick in next years draft, I'm taking the best SS. There are the HS guys and there is Nick Madrigal who has crushed college pitching.
