Looks like the bullpen may be full of adventures this season.

Was my worry. I think the O will score runs but not facing this Mets SP staff, SP should be pretty solid but the BP was the big qestion mark.

It is faster to catch the ball while lunging forward to apply the tag than it is to stand in front of the bag, catch the ball, and turn to apply the tag.

The all is moving faster and covers more ground than the catcher is. Let the ball cover the distance.

Yeah, we have a ****** bullpen right now, Johnson and Vizcaino (huge injury risk) are our only really good relievers, after that we have:

Ian Krol, he was a actually really good in 2016, but was better against LHP and we should use him in those situations.

Eric O'flaherty, he was terrible last season and has been for the last two years, we are hearing that he's feeling healthy for the first time in years and stuff but he's not a guy I trust right now.

Chaz Roe, a journeyman with no track record of good results.

    Jose Ramirez, *see Chaz Roe*

Josh Collmenter, long reliever/spot starter, this is a guy who might be okay but we can't really use him as an everyday reliever.

That's a bad bullpen, I would like to see the Braves give some of our fail starters (Wisler, Blair, Sims etc...) a chance to solidify our bullpen, kinda like the Mets are doing with Gsellman, not that Gsellman is a fail starter but he's a starter who didn't make the rotation. We need to do something quick because there's no way we are going to play .500 with this bullpen.

Yeah the bullpen was really bad today. Freeman continued his hot hitting from ST though, that's good!

I mean I see the logic in that but I still feel like the way the ball bounced in front of the plate if he was positioned in front all he has to do it catch the ball and put his glove straight down to his feet. The throw was definitely on time but I think Flowers have to dive forward to tag is why he was safe. He waited for the ball to travel past the plate and then had to lung back forward. Seems like wasted time. Why let the ball travel further just to apply the tag where the ball already was?

Before Matz got injures Wheeler was named the 5th starter and the Mets announced that Gsellman was being sent to the pen.

Why TF do you lift Tehran after 6 for? Can't we get back to the old days where a *********g pitcher pitched 8 strong, 9th if he was good for it? Why do managers puss out after 5 or 6 now? Such BS. In any event, this will be yet another season of wake me when it's next year and if our prospects miraculously pan out. It's like the weathermen trying to predict the weather here in Colorado, last week they screwed us twice saying big blizzards were coming like GoT, but sure enough, nothing. Here we go, clap, clap, clapclapclap, clapclapclapclap WE $UCK! WE $UCK!!!!

Is crazy right, Harvey, Degrom, Thor and Matz were ready with a 1 year difference and they were successful since the beginning.
