I think very few people are surprised that he had issues last year. This year will be about improvement and direction. Has his hitting, catching and relation with the staff improved? What direction does he seem to be headed? They may give him this year to answer these questions but his third could be the make or break year.

We didn’t do a heck of a lot to upgrade our field positions did we. I just can’t help but feel something is wrong with our approach. Is the problem with the FO or is it that players find better situations elsewhere? I’ve heard people say that even Correas’ heart really wasn’t in it. That he wanted to go to NY. An interesting thought but we’ll never know for sure.

We have always had a hard time getting players to come here, now if they do they have the player option to shorten their deal to play somewhere else after one good year. I feel like we are being used😡
