Those 25 games with the Yankees sure helped him out.

Not a terrible deal by any means.

Not terrible, just seemed like an overpay before I went and actually checked his 2018 stats.

His projected annual average salary was around $15M and he ended up getting a little bit about $16M. It seems to be trend this offseason with everyone, pitchers included. It seems like free agents are being slightly overvalued this year. Still, I expect Brantley to get more than Cutch, for a pretty much comparable player.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing us pick him up. Bay area boy with a big heart, and maybe a return to the NL West could benefit him. Sandoval has worked out pretty well for us as a reserve, while the BoSox have paid almost all his salary for us.

I thought similarly for a moment but I don't think he'd be all about playing in our spacious ballpark with a healthy shortstop that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Would be all for giving him a show if he is down though. The A's make more sense to me for Tulo.

I think his best spot might be 1st. Maybe an option if Belt gets traded.

Get someone to take Longoria contract with Belt. That clear the books.
Idk, who’d take on that much money

I can't see that happening. Teams are going to likely want money when just acquiring Belt.
