Sacramento's price was way too high for Lakers, per source. Makes sense considering what @ESPNSteinLine is reporting NOLA's offer is

Sacramento has agreed to trade DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans, league source tells @TheVertical.

holy hell. PROBABLY THE best duo to rule the paint since DUNCAN/Robinson

Deal with the Pels includes guard Buddy Hield, and a 2017 first-round pick to the Kings for Cousins, league sources tell @TheVertical.

That's how dumb the kings FO is. I'm grateful to have ours on board, somehow.

Question was.. Ingram and who. Would be angry if the proposal was "straight-up".

Apparently, asking price was too high.

If you're the Lakers you say take Ingram and Mozgov. And then play Zubac and Cousins next to each other for the next decade! **** you Jim!!

Yea I'd have to see what the entire asking price was to judge.

Damn it... I wanted to land Cousins.

Now I look forward to AD and Cousins putting a hurting on teams Big Boy style. All this running around jump shooting from 3 is annoying.

They both can shoot and both play the paint, they're going to own the glass and paint.

I'll be very, very disappointed if we don't end up filling up LaLa land's checklist after the deadline. Something like

-Late first for Lou (or maybe anyone among Kelly Oubre Jr. / Stanley Johnson / etc.)
-(3) 2nd rd picks for Young, Calderon and Black

the lakers don't have a first to give. Think about this concerning Demarcus Cousins. He's considered the "best" center in the game but has never made the playoffs. The team with him, Rudy Gay and rondo wasn't bad as the team the laker had in 06 and that team made the playoffs. I'm okay with the lakers not wanting to give up on Ingram.

Unless the NOLA FO would hire elite shooters and pair em' up with these giants.. it would be legendary.

Korver and Reddick are both FAs this summer. But yeah, I couldnt agree more with you. I miss players who can consistently dominate the damn paint. Looking forward to the off-season and how the Pels plan to assemble a team.

Just a figment of my imagination:

    Cousins-Gibson
    Davis-Gibson
    Korver-Cunningham
    Redick-Moore
    Teague-Frazier
