Allen is a talented player, but seems like a wasted pick with Buckner, Armstead, and Dial.

I don't think it would suck at all. I want the best player we could possibly get. We have a spot open at DE so either move one of Armstead/Buck to DE or Allen.

If John Lynch looks at Allen and sees Warren Sapp would you pass on him?

Allen doesn't fit our roster in the slightest, we need an edge rusher.

If I'm drafting Allen and switching to a 4-3, I'm asking Allen to drop 15 pounds and putting him at DE, not Armstead or Buckner.

Here's my current top 5 for the 49ers to draft at #2 based on a combination of need and talent:

    1. Myles Garrett
    2. Solomon Thomas
    3. Reuben Foster
    4. Mike Williams
    5. Corey Davis

Take Williams off that list and put down Cunningham and move up Davis for me

However, currently I am helping train with Derek Carr from Fresno State get ready for his pro day and the draft. I am also working with Cody Kessler, the USC quarterback.

After watching more film on foster he is an absolute beast and head and shoulder better than everyone except Garrett and Allen. I want him at 2 if we don't get Garrett.

I wasn't that high on Alvin Kamara until I really watched him. He is blazing fast I want to see what he runs in the 40 I'm guessing low 4.4 but 4.3 wouldn't shock me. He caught the ball a lot in the games I watched from him he would be a great compliment back to Hyde. If he can return kicks I wouldn't hesitate to take him in the 2nd

Zach Cunningham? He probably won't go until the 20's... Mine would be:

    1. Myles Garrett
    2. Reuben Foster
    3. Solomon Thomas
    4. Derek Barnett
    5. Malik Hooker

Well they would be well served by getting either Allen or Garrett, with our picks they could potentially acquire a Cousins at the same time.

I doubt we do it, just gauging how people would feel.

What would you propose going back to Cleveland, besides #2? Maybe this years 3rd and next years 2nd? Is that too much?

My pre FA mock draft with no trades.

1st- ILB Foster (beast, should boost a horrible run D and covers well)
2nd- OLB T.J Watt (boost pass rush and solid in the run game)
3rd- TE Evan Engram (good pass catching TE needs work on blocking)
4th- WR Zay Jones (senior bowl standout great body control and hands)
4th- QB David Webb (most people sleeper QB)
5th- NT Jarron Jones (great run stopper and he will fit in with our tall DL with his 6'5 320 frame)
5th- CB Corn Elder (explosive player need technique work)
6th- WR Chad Williams (another senior bowl standout)
6th-FB Sam Rogers (He is the best FB in college and now we need one)
7th- QB Chad Kelly (why not double up on the position)
7th- RB Joe Mixon (he probably won't get drafted but we would get a stud if we pick him up, I know I'm going to catch he** for this pick)

Honestly, no clue. The trade chart is often completely unusable at the top of the 1st round. Would require a few substantial picks I'm sure.

Depends on if they weren't going to actually pick Garrett. If you pretty much new SF would take Garret, while wanting someone else, why not get a free pick or two?

    Really doubt it happens though.
