Well to be fair, he was part of a group that was let go from the past regime. At this point in the offseason, options aren't great. I'd be fine with bringing him to SF in the same role, assistant DB coach.

I'm certain that Shanahan has people in mind already. Did you see how quickly Lynch fit Peters? That arrangement was already in place before Lynch was even hired. Same will be true with Shanahan.

Likely true, but I'd still be fine with Reed being added to who they expect to bring in as well.

I'm not going to worry about assistant position coaches until we get a damn DC.

I'm willing to bet that Shanahan already has a handshake deal in place with someone for that position.

I'd take that bet. If he did I'm assuming we would've heard something by now.

Regardless, to think Shanahan hasn't had any conversations with guys about joining his staff is just silly. The guy is the most prepared person in any room he enters. I find it hard to believe he's just going to wing it when the season ends.

Jim Haslett is a name to keep an eye on. He was Mike Shanahan's DC in Washington and has head coaching experience, which would be a good resource to a first time head coach.

Could be, didn't strike me as the social media type.

I'm not saying Shanahan doesn't have some people in mind, just not sure he has a DC in place.

Terms I like hearing about Shanny, "aggressive", "arrogant", "unafraid".

Considering that the leaks were unfavorable to him towards the end I doubt that. I think now York is telling who it is cough Paraag cough to shut there mouths.
