Joey Gallo helps balance the NYY lineup by striking out from the left side instead of the right.

Forgive me if posted before. I just found it prophetic and funny as hell.

Huter Renfroe's comments are wild. He said that during the Red Sox Covid outbreak, the league told the team to stop testing players and just treat them.

The league of course denies the allegations.

What purpose would it serve him to lie? What he is accusing the league of doing, would actually benefit the Red Sox as players wouldn't be forced to take a leave.

I believe the player. I think the league will make more money if the Sox are right in the mix.
    It's crazy F'd up

Sir surely you’re not accusing the league of lying are you?
    Perish the thought

It seems to me, no one really gives the pitching the credit it deserves. Going into today, Yankees lead the AL in ERA. The starters are 4th in the AL and the pen is 2nd. The starters have 3.20 era over the last 58 games. They've allowed 3 runs or less in 50 of those starts and 2 runs or less in 41 0f those starts. Anyone that complains about the pitching isn't paying attention.

I can’t believe it’s been two years today since I’ve seen a live concert! Mark Knopfler Comerica Theater Arizona.

I completely agree. I think the job that Blake, Briend and Cressey have done a phenomenal job. We only got less than 20 starts from Kluber and nothing from Sevy, shocker there, and they have still manged to put one of the better staffs in BB. They got way more from Taillon than expected, Monty has taken a big leap forward.

What they have done with Nestor and Gil has been impressive.

Our 3 best BP arm to start the yr have in Green, Chapman and Brit have been pretty disappointing but the have had some really good success with Lasagna, Wandy, Homes, Joely and other than 2 atrocious outing Abreau has been much better than expected.

The growth they have done with the MILB pitchers has been impressive also.

Those 3 are the only coaches IMO, that should come back next yr

Speaking of Babes 60, there’s a terrific article in today’s NY Post about 1961 when Maris and Mantle were chasing the Babe.
