Good I don't want Ross. So the Raptors want to get what would be their third best player for their 7th, or 8th best asset? Is Ross going to contribute more to winning a championship? Is he going to help fix their bad defense? They're over the cap so they can't sign him in the offseason. If they want Ibaka they have to give up something good. With so many teams reportedly interested, Hennigan has to ask for too much. I'm going to list the teams rumoured to be interested and what I'd ask for (not necessarily what I'd expect in return).

    Wizards-Porter or Oubre+1st
Suns-Chriss, or a top 8 protected, or both.
    Raptors-Powell, Nougeira.
    Spurs- Murray, Simmons
Boston-Crowder or Smart+late 1st, or a 2018 Brooklyn pick swap and salary filler.
    Portland-1st round pick, aminu, Ezeli
    Houston-Dekker+1st

Some of these are optimistic others are more realistic, but these are some of the pieces I like on those teams. My favourite would be the 2018 Brooklyn pick swap. The Magic get to have the right to swap picks with Boston (Nets pick) in 2018. Unlikely the Celtics take that chance when they have a ton of other assets. Crowder is locked into a nice contract, so he probably has more value than Vucevic. Porter would be amazing, but again not realistic. I like Chriss from PHX. That could be a decent trade for both teams. I also like Simmons and Murray from the Spurs along with THAT Raptors package.

Good job 5ass of outlining potential deals. I like the way you are thinking but what about Crabbe from Portland?

I dont like him man. He's touted as a 3&D guy but really he's not a good defender. He definitely isn't better than Fournier overall IMO, so I think he'd be relegated to the bench for sure, and to make matters worse he has a trade kicker which will have him making 20+ mill/yr... I wouldn't touch that contract, definitely not for trading Ibaka. For me, Biyombo for Crabbe swap is closer in value, but even then I'd pass.

I'm also going to add Denver to the list. I thought about them yesterday after posting, but a poster in the main forum reminded me that they could be good trade partners. Jokic and Ibaka could be a nice duo for them. Gallo or Nurkic or a 1st would be the return. They have some good pieces. I'd ask for a 1st and Nurkic.

Crabbe is not gonna make us a playoff team. I hate being in this position. Try to be the best or be the worst. There is no logic to win any game right now. Just keep losing. If there is no chance to get superstars and build a team around them, send whatever you got for draft picks. Do not bring these decent players to my team. It prevents us to deal superstars when they are available. We do not have any superstars yet while some other teams have 3. Stop spending money to decent players. Give max only to real superstars(real talents). Never pay max for Ibaka. 17m per year is also to much for Fournier and Biyombo. Fournier is good but he will never make you a champion caliber team. Both are overpaid. We should do everything to get superstars(i know right now it is impossible). Keep losing and send some of these overpaid guys for something if it is possible!

The Raptors are barely hanging onto HCA. Let them beg for Ibaka. Powell is quick and smooth, but he's not enough to land Ibaka.

Vogel and the team are starting to figure each other out. Vucevic has been really good. He's playing well with Ibaka and Payton. Hopefully Fournier is starting to get healthy again. I really think his slump was mostly due to his injury. Gordon went for 1 point in 28 minutes...

I don't think we are going to play noticeably better. We obviously give Toronto trouble for some reason but they didn't have Derozan. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Oh I didn't mean we're going to make the play offs. Just that we might be too talented to finish with a top 5 pick.

EP has been benched. Vogel is stated that he likes CJ starting. I don't think EP was ever going to be our PG of the future. This move confirms that. Maybe we can get Fultz, Ball or Smith jr in the draft.

I don't know but it's not a good thing when you get benched and you are eligible for extension in the summer.

Lmao they didn't wanna pay Oladipo, they damn sure ain't extending Payton.

Plus a report is out now that Rob Hennigan job isn't dependent on if we make playoffs

Nice to see Mario hitting shots. That's the one thing I always knew he could do. He needs to be allowed to play and make mistakes just like Ag and EP.
