Good I don't want Ross. So the Raptors want to get what would be their third best player for their 7th, or 8th best asset? Is Ross going to contribute more to winning a championship? Is he going to help fix their bad defense? They're over the cap so they can't sign him in the offseason. If they want Ibaka they have to give up something good. With so many teams reportedly interested, Hennigan has to ask for too much. I'm going to list the teams rumoured to be interested and what I'd ask for (not necessarily what I'd expect in return).
Wizards-Porter or Oubre+1st
Suns-Chriss, or a top 8 protected, or both.
Raptors-Powell, Nougeira.
Spurs- Murray, Simmons
Boston-Crowder or Smart+late 1st, or a 2018 Brooklyn pick swap and salary filler.
Portland-1st round pick, aminu, Ezeli
Houston-Dekker+1st
Some of these are optimistic others are more realistic, but these are some of the pieces I like on those teams. My favourite would be the 2018 Brooklyn pick swap. The Magic get to have the right to swap picks with Boston (Nets pick) in 2018. Unlikely the Celtics take that chance when they have a ton of other assets. Crowder is locked into a nice contract, so he probably has more value than Vucevic. Porter would be amazing, but again not realistic. I like Chriss from PHX. That could be a decent trade for both teams. I also like Simmons and Murray from the Spurs along with THAT Raptors package.
