Like I said in the main forum I wouldn't trade Ibaka for Ross and change. That's not a good deal. Ross and Caroll would be a sign and trade type of move. Ross is 26, he doesn't have much untapped potential IMO. I want Powell, Patterson and Nogueira. Powell is putting up 15-4-2 shooting 40% from 3 in 10 games as a starter this season. In the 5 games he played 30+ mpg he averaged 18.4-5.0-1.8 shooting 50% FG and 40% from 3. He's only 23 years old and in his 2nd season.

Agreed. Don't see the hype around Ross tbh. He scored 50 like 3 years ago but hasn't done much since then. My first choice would be for Ibaka to re-sign. If not, I'd like a combination of young players and picks if possible.

Well I think Ross is a proven scorer and has more value than a second round pick like Powell. He an undersized shooting guard like oladipo. If we traded him why would we want Powell. But whatever your preference these are the kind of guys we are looking at.

Its trade him or lose him for nothing guys he isn'tresigning here unless we happen to get an all-star before deadline which is doubtful

And yea if we trade ibaka few teams are taking that chance on him and those few teams still aren't giving up much without him resigning they aren't giving up great assets when he could walk our return for him will not be great

I think my first choice right now is to just trade him for young pieces and/or picks. I think I'd rather throw big money at Noel/KCP/Otto Porter. I'd be happy with any of them. Get rid of Biyombo and DJ too for whatever we can get. Open up a ton of cap space. In 2015 Phil signed Lopez then dumped him next year to sign Noah. Rob should do the same with Biz.

It wont be great but I can see him netting a good pick from the blazers or pelicans.

That's what the Knicks did not Philadelphia. But I wouldn't mind KCP or Noel. I don't want Otto for the price you will have to pay. Otto is going to get near max for basically a 3-D guy. I think you also outlined some issues we would have if we signed Noel we have to get rid of Biz. Nobody's taking him without picks attached. We might be stuck with him.

As far as IBaka is concerned he is not staying. Apparently the rumor is his cousin has been tweeting that Ibaka is headed to Toronto. I think Por/Min/Sac all have good picks to give.

Yea it's all rumors and guesses at this point but I don't want to lose him for nothing and I don't want to pay him 20 million a year. So I say trade him.

Every win sucks. Great win at Toronto I suppose but we need to lose like it's going out of style. As of now we'd have the 7th worst team -- the very definition of no man's land. Tank and tank hard already.

I don't think the Magic should trade Vucevic because the return will not be great, or Gordon. Everyone else should be available, with emphasis on trying to trade Biyombo for anything and probably Ibaka.

Seems Ibaka may be on the move soon but we may be asking for too much according to this article

For those of you who don't think Ross is that good this article touches on his value. We should hope to get somebody like him in return if we're lucky.
