Derozan went to the ECF last year and Lowry couldn't hit a shot, so I don't think he is the best player in team. As far as records are concerned I don't think Clippers catch them without Blake for 4-6 weeks and Boston is 3 games behind them.

Funny all the sudden the wolves are coming out saying stuff about lavine being a part of theirs core 3 ....

Either shooting down trade talk or boosting his value

Lowry had a few 35 point games in the ECF. Also the Raptors still aren't better than Clippers. I expect the Celtics to make a move soon. If its not for a star, I still think they'll get a center. Their are a ton of centres on the trade market.

I think the wolves are saying that because his name was coming up in rumors. I don't know what center they would get. I don't think Vuc is enough and they don't need EP.

From hoopshype- Because right now Orlando is … what exactly? The Magic have some nice young pieces in Gordon, Fournier and Elfrid Payton but lack any discernible star power. Gordon is playing out of position while Payton was relegated to the bench last month — and has put up better numbers since. The clock continues to tick toward Ibaka’s free agency this summer and the staggering salary Orlando will have to pay to keep him. Again, all indications are Cousins is going nowhere. But if the Kings get serious about looking for a trade partner, Orlando has a lot of pieces that would fit. – via Yahoo! Sports

My theory is go big or go home. I'm all for targeting big names and giving up assets to build a more elite team with the East so wide open. I don't care cause if ibaka and a guy like cousins walks, o well at least we tried to be great and not just mediocre and then we have a ton of cap space to start over.

Id go heavy for a guy like cousins or PG13

    COUSINS and Gay to Orlando

Vuc Mario Gordon Green and pick to kings

    Payton or DJ
    Evan
    Gay
    Ibaka
    Cousins

    George to Orlando

Vuc AG Green and pick to pacers

    Dj or Payton
    Evan
    PG13
    Ibaka
    Biz

We could include ep instead of ag or whoever really we need to get it done. Have them make a playoff run this year with the promise to bring in another key name in the off season in hopes they stay .... Id rather that and lose everyone and start over then trade for freaking Wilson Chandler or galo or some other average joe that will just help us to be even more mediocre and delay a rebuild for 3 more years of 6th seed at best

We're all onboard with trading for a star and understand no one is untouchable. The problem is its hard to trade for a star because a lot of teams are looking for a star player and there aren't many available. If we can get Cousins for that I'd definitely do it. Ibaka would be the bet player he's ever played with. I'm pretty sure Fournier is better than any player Cousins has played with. I also would LOVE to keep Payton in that case because you'd have two bigs that can stretch the floor for him, and I think he'll explode with that line up.

    Payton/DJ
    Fournier/Meeks
    Green
    Ibaka
    Cousins/Biyombo

You could also send Biyombo somewhere for a decent SF or extra capspace. With Vogel as head coach, I'd bet they make the play offs this year. They'd also be in position to sign a max FA next year if I'm not mistaken. So the Magic would be in great position moving forward. With well managed spending, they could keep capspace open for the next couple of years, and try to land another star.

All that isn't very realistic though. Its much more likely we target Wilson chandler, and I'd be happy to have him. With him we can make the play offs, and that's with a 22 year old Payton and 21 yr old AG. I'm also pretty sure they'd have cap space to make a move this year. So they'd be in decent position. 8th seed and there's big potential to improve with EP, Gordon and Mario on the roster. Our ceiling as a team would depend on them. It doesn't look like the type of team that will be competing for a championship, but you never know. If they can attract a star they could be legit. If two of the young guys explodes into all-stars, they could do it. Not the best position to be in, but you never know what happens. I remember when the GS Warriors were "destined for mediocrity", and OKC were the next dynasty.

Stand pat unless we get a star

Can I get all the non Bandwagon true fans to stand up?

Tough game against the pacers. We really needed Evan.

Editor in chief of Orlando magic daily is reporting Magic is looking at making a move after road trip next week. He wouldn't say who because he's still validating story but states it something big. He said he couldn't believe the player they are trading for. But states it's not Cousins. So maybe there is a big shake up coming.

Good game today by AG and EP. This win wasn't impressive with KP being out, but it helps in the standings.

My favourite realistic target would be Bledsoe. If we're trading Vucevic, I'd also try to bring in Tyson Chandler. We can't rely on biyombo too much. Tyson would start IMO. They can have Mario and a couple of firsts.

I agree with most of your post. I still want to keep Mario because we haven't given him a chance. I don't know if he would bring back much anyway. Vuc is playing well but I think Biz would play better if he had better scorers around him. I like Bledsoe. Only question is durability with him but he has played mostly injury free this year. I never really mentioned him before because I didn't think Suns would be crazy enough to give him up. They would likely want to attach Chandler and his salary in any deal. I am ok with Chandler because we are going to need a C anyway if we trade Vuc.

If Mario doesn't have value, then don't trade him. I think he has value for a rebuilding team like the Suns. I know they have Booker, but Mario is still a good gamble. They're a bottom 5 team, I think it makes a lot of sense to trade an injury prone Bledsoe and an old Tyson for young guys and picks. If the Magic don't make the play offs they get a lottery pick. Mario was a lottery pick last year, and they might be able to swing Vucevic to the Pelicans for their first. That would give them two potential lottery picks along with their top 5 pick in this years draft.

I'm with 5ass.... Why trade the 5th pick when his value is at its lowest? Better to keep him since we don't even know if he is a bust yet since we refuse to play him.

Seeing a lot of Vuc for Crowder talk today

Also hawks looking to move milsap he will be a FA .... Its reported they will be lucky to get 2 assets for him... If we are moving vuc I wouldn't mind him depending on what we gave up
