Wolves fans are not used to player development. That isn't (or hasn't) our thing. So I apologize if I am not oozing with confidence over a negative player, all because he is a rookie.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Absolutely. That's one of the reasons I've suggested trading Wiggins for Russell. Dunn has most of the same limitations as Rubio, so unless the basketball god's gift him with a jumper, how is he going to fit any better?

Yeah, and most of it is coming from you. I don't think that anyone here is rooting against Dunn or doesn't think that he has some obvious natural skills/advantages, but the stats do not shine in his favor (regardless of how many minutes you think he should get). Right now, Dunn is turning it over and not assisting - that is the opposite of a good PG's duty. As for the eye test? Maybe you are wowed by a nifty move here (and a missed finish) or snatching a ball out of the air there, but you can't ignore the deficiencies which occur much more frequently than what I dare say you would call "flashes".

If the Clips clean house would our first rounder (top 5ish) get DeAndre Jordan?? Would that be a good deal? Sign PJ tucker to help culture and defensive identity along with Jordan. Trade Rubio for Nurkic?

    Dunn/ Tyus
    Lavine/ Rush
    Wiggins/ Tucker
    Towns/ Dieng
    Jordan/ Nurkic

I don't care if you aren't worried, I don't tend to agree with your assessments. With Dunn, I don't see any patience, any court vision, any timing, on offense. He was a 4 year college player who eventually overwhelmed with size, and strength. I think he can be an excellent defender, but his shot mechanics make Rubio's look normal, his first step isn't elite by any means, and I don't see anything to suggest he has star potential. He hasn't gotten the minutes yet to normalize his consistency, but he hasn't even shown it in flashes yet. I generally give a player until year 3 to figure it out before I believe it's time to move on, rookie to year 3 is a big gap. I am not worried either, because if he doesn't work out, my life doesn't change.

Tyus has the makings of a good backup. He will always struggle defensively, but I do wish he got more run with starters at times.

It's clear Rubio doesn't fit. The writing is on the wall, he is gone at some point.

I don't see our future PG right now. Perhaps Dunn will make some offseason improvements, but he isn't even showing the most basic PG skills right now on the offensive side. Now, that being said, it's usually the other side of the ball rookies struggle with, so there is some encouragement.

I just don't agree, that everything will just be fine. This team has a LONG ways to go. Wiggins is showing he won't reach his ceiling, we are far enough along now. So, now people around him need to exceed expectations for us to climb into elite later.
Your just a little slow sometimes due to T-wolves hopelessness syndrome, but you tend to come over to my side eventually...for example...you now feel Lavine will be a good player...you now feel like Tyus will be a good backup...you now feel like Rubio is not for this team.

We will check these off as they come.

Wiggins will be a very good player
Dunn will be a good point guard

There is a reason Kat made a point to talk about how important Kris Dunn is to the team during his post game interview. You can focus on all the negatives and forget about all the different ways someone can effect a game. But you only prover your favoritism if you ignore KAT. Prove me wrong and explain what KAT said.

Hawk was clamoring for Lavine before the draft 3 years ago.
Also I believe he has always stated that jones will be a backup point guard

We may be discussing Jackson by this time next week but I think we will have to agree to disagree about Dunn. I may be watching something else but in his limited time he has clearly had some "holes" in his game but also has shown ability to go to the hole, killer crossover, good defense and decent form in his shot. I agree that his court vision is not as good as Ricky's but who's is. I would have to believe that Dunn's shot with a summer will get much better as Ricky's mechanics have ALWAYS been awful.

If Jackson comes to town Dunn will be the backup for sure so may be a mute point. But for a second string guy I am good with him for now and growth from year one to two will tell a bit.

We seem to have a bunch of guys who need some Prozac in here ..... I do work in the mental health field so if you need some meds let me know. The sky is not falling.... wait president Trump was inaugurated today... I may need some Prozac myself. The sky is falling !

I feel like Tyus has been one of the top players at every level he has ever played at. Also, he has won everywhere he has gone. So if Tyus fits better right now, he should be the backup, and when Dunn is ready he should get his chance, but as of right now, Dunn has done nothing (offensively) to earn the playing time he is getting.

Actually I can find posts that show he is not a believer in either one. He and I have had these conversations. You are the one reaching my young friend. You are talking about things you obviously are not privey to.

What favoritism am I proving aside from yours?

Why don't you post what KAT actually said instead of continually referencing some comments vaguely? Hmm?

And LOL for a guy who loves to bash Rubio, now you're talking about "all the ways" a player can affect the game. How exactly is Dunn positvely affecting the game?

How about you provide some argument of substance, rather than claiming you know things or have said things with no proof other than maybe that your mom told you your opinion matters. Because, quite frankly, this is a "forum" and that means having discussions not stating opinions and "gut feelings" and "agreeing to disagree" when you have nothing to back them up.

Just because your hunches turn out to be correct sometimes doesn't mean they are anything more than the aforementioned. I mean, even a blind pig can find an acorn once in a while.

Why should anyone agree with you when you base your opinions on hunches? Only fools think their hunches are facts.

Hunch is easier than just taking Ricky apart and having everyone get upset.

Hunch is easier than saying I see how Dunn moves and reacts to others movements, and can tell he is going to be a good player once he get confidence.

Hunch is just an easy way of me saying I see something without explaining it to a bunch of people that will just get ultra sensative if the explanation is negative against there favorite player.

I really haven't been wrong. Ive been saying Ricky needs to go. I ve been saying Tyus needs opportunity. Don't get mad at me cause they are. Don't get mad at me because you were wrong. Ive gone into much detail on why I think things. I will admit being wrong, but if your going to say I am wrong even if I'm right, then you need to check yourself my friend and just accept reality. Right is right, and wrong is wrong period. If I get tired of explaining myself and decide i want to leave it at a hunch, then stop b------ when I do explain myself, and dont get but hurt from here on out when I hold your favorite player in a negative light. (this is to all that apply, if it doesn't apply to you than forget about it)

No, you are not. You just keeping saying that Towns said something positive about Dunn and that that somehow conflates to Dunn deserving to be a starter or something. What you state below, does not equate to that and is the least (but is still not fully) vague you have been.

He said that Dunn was important to the team and the league. And then I watched you just run from my question. Its hard to have a discussion when you put your tale between your legs like this. If you would like to quote KAT and then explain what he means, go ahead. If you can't then your done.
Normally, I would not bring up grammar because mistakes happen here and there, but seriously learn to spell/use the right homophone. Every one of your posts is filled with mistakes.

I am done. Done posting with some troll who doesn't have one worthwhile thought to provide to anyone and apparently needs the attention he isn't getting at home from strangers on the web.

Finally, "tail between my legs" I've been steady coming back with stats and arguments and you've got nothing to say but the same old same old. Remember, how you ran away when I proved that I've been a long-time Zach Lavine supporter? Remember how you agreed that Rubio was underrated after trying to trash me for supporting him? Yeah, that 's what makes IKnowHoops the biggest joke name on this website.
