That's why I would love Aaron Gordon. He is exactly what I'd want in a starting PF next to KAT.

I have long wanted Isaac next to KAT...

Wonder if there is a way to snag both, they would make a good athletic/defensive forward combo next to KAT/Russell.

With the lottery only a few days away, I'm starting to think about packages for Devin Booker. I'm starting to think if MN lands a top 3 pick, it will be used along with another pick, Beasley, Culver, and Okogie. I'd be excited to see it.

I think trading for him is the exciting move and you do it because we don't get a chance for 3 players like Russell/Booker/Towns often... (although that's a lot to offer, imo should be able to keep a piece there)

That defense though, oof. If we have to move the pieces you mention we basically will be those 3 and cheap role players moving forward. Would be a fun high scoring team better than what we normally have, that's for sure.

Is Gordon considered a good defender? Honest question.

What I meant Hawk is that wether drafting high energy, inexperienced defenders like Okongwu
or Precious will be efficient enough to overcome the lack of D from Towns and Russell.

Gordon is a solid defender, I think Isaac is a bit better overall though if we wanna move for one of their pieces.

I prefer to keep the pick compared to moving it for just Gordon. If we can do a trade and get both or maybe do Gordon and their pick for our pick etc. I would be interested though.

Isaac is a pipedream. Healthy, he would probably be my second choice in the whole league behind the greek freak.

He is likely short of must sign, but yes, I imagine we plan to re-sign him as priority #1. He will likely land in the neighborhood of a 4 year, $55-60 million contract.

Here is your fair assessment: He tries to fit a square peg into a round hole. The guy simply doesn't understand how to adapt his system to his players(nor is his system really worth a damn in the modern pace and space game). Regards...

Oefarmy hit it. He is an archaic mind who doesn't understand how to connect with the youth of today's NBA. He is way better served as a defensive assistant at this stage, if he has any place in the NBA at all that is.

Guess we won't know until things resume. I know it's been done before, Mike Miller had his j broken down completely and rebuilt.
