Actual data on UBI working in the US.

Apparently 42 cities are considering their own UBI programs.

The Hill's rising is biased in favor of it, but they interview the former mayor of Stockton on the subject.

When republicans call CNN liberal for criticizing an obviously terrible Trump administration and then a liberal checks their top stories today:

I'd argue otherwise. Not funny and not very logical either, seeing as how basically no one eats an entire birthday cake by themselves.

I believe the implication is that the person doesn't know how to celebrate a birthday because they don't have friends who would come to the party.

I believe you are coloring the author's intent with your own feelings about Sanders....but to each their own.

Huh? The initial poster is attacking Bernie and the second person is pointing out the ridiculousness of the metaphor.

I think that personís defense of Bernie is a good one and just generally funny. As far as I can tell, this is a pro-Bernie and common sense meme.

I donít feel like Iím missing something. But I assure you my laughter is how foolish the anti-Bernie guy looks.

I was only paying attention to the main tweet. I also assumed that was the part you found funny. Regardless, I didn't find that or the response humorous.

    Whatever though. Different strokes.

I don't live in Chicago, but I listen to Chicago's WGN radio. Their mayor, Lori Lightfoot, is a darn good mayor -- especially for a Democrat. I hope she becomes governor of my state. Anything would be better than Gov. Pritzker. He just got his J&J vaccine. They probably had to pump a gallon of it into him, since he's so shockingly fat.

Pritzker handled the pandemic swimmingly. Not sure why you would have a problem with him.
