Yeah that was hilarious how they did some of the tests.

Didn't they analyze it in the movie to show that he actually threw around 95 or so? I can't remember which pitcher they did it with.

Feller? Or was it Johnson or someone before them? I can't remember. But one of them was like 96, another was close to 100. Pretty impressive. I thought maybe we were getting better velocities in baseball but maybe they've been throwing hard all along and like the movie said we never tracked it well.

I'm watching Cubs and Mariners. Travis Wood pitched the top of the 6th, batted in the bottom half, and now he is in LF in the top of the 7th... I don't get it.

Now Maddon pulls Strop and Wood is coming in from LF to pitch again. Never seen this before.

EDIT: and proceeds to pick off O'Malley. Can do it all.

It was the first pitcher they focused on from the 20's or 30's I believe(Feller?). I'm too lazy to look it up. He threw it through the wires or whatever it was. I kind of came away thinking the same as you that humans really can't throw much harder than they already do. Obviously there's way more guys throwing 95 but there were guys who could do that a hundred years ago. They made a good point in saying that every other sport/athletes have become faster, stronger etc but we may have seen humans pushed to the max as far as throwing a baseball goes.

Lol Terry Collins mad at the reporters for asking why Cespedes golfed 18 before the game yesterday with a strained quad. Mets put him on the 15 day DL today.

ESPN ranked Gibby 30th out of 30 managers. Don't have the link cause in on my phone.

Flame away, Bomber! Oh and giving ESPN any credit should be perma-ban worthy
