Devon Travis wrote a Thank You letter to Toronto fans. Too bad he wasn't able to stay healthy, that bat was for real.

Will Smith to the Braves so they got their closer and one less trading partner for Giles
Hey sorry I didn’t see this until now.
I think travis’ bat played anywhere on the field when he was healthy. He doesn’t have great range and you have to limit his dives and quick twitch movements. I’ve always viewed LF/DH/1B as good places to hide a guy who shouldn’t be laying out to make plays.

OFers usually need to be tall and/or fast. Travis was neither of those things. Like you said he didn't have good range at 2B so I could only assume the OF would be worse. There's more right handed hitters in the league as opposed to left so ideally more balls will be going to LF in this pull heavy era. He played a career high 103 games in 2018 and had his worst offensive season yet. Prior to that I was all about his bat and would've liked to plug it wherever I could. The injuries are just too much with this guy though. He literally injured himself in his sleep.
Kevin Pillar got a MVP vote![]()
This is the beat writer that voted for him. Guess he's just trying to get noticed

The Yankees are filing a grievance against Ellsbury for using rehabilitation services that weren’t offered from the team. You know, the same thing JD did that nobody thought was an issue.
