Canucks sign Loui Eriksson to 6 year, 36M contract

As we discussed on Sportscentre...and really no surprise, consider Lucic and Eriksson high priority for Canucks. They want at least 1 of 2.

I prefer Lucic, age, local boy coming home and aggressive play!

Eriksson signs, 6 yr, $36m. I like the move.
If we're all such great coaches why do we recruit so hard? You need players.

Eriksson makes a lot of sense and has played with the Sedin's on multiple occasions in international play. Furthermore, it gives the Sedins' someone to work with who can produce. It really is the one acceptable place where it is okay to add a thirty plus player who can gel with them until they retire. I am all good with having a top cohesive line that can skate and produce points.

I'd like to see him playing with Horvat occasionally too. Some second line development ...

I'm sure there will be time for that, but Eriksson signed to play with Hank and Danny. That's the brass tax, and part of what to expect.
