Is it? Is it really a shame?

If you look at the Packers draft picks from that draft. Then that's all you need to know😁😁

I dunno, I do respect his ability but I just always want packers to lose (unless it means like we make playoffs or something)

Daronte Jones accepted the offer to become LSU's DC. Read a lot of good things about Jones so it sounds like this is a big loss for the Vikings. We'll now need a new DBs coach along with an OC and ST coach.

    4: James Lynch DT Baylor
    4: Troy Dye LB Oregon

    5: K.J. Osborn WR Miami
6: Blake Brandel OT Oregon State
    6: Josh Metellus S Michigan
7: Kenny Willekes DE Michigan State
    7: Nate Stanley QB Iowa

Sounds like this guys has got a very bright future. Might get HC jobs within a year or two from what I read. After seeing the development of Gladney and Dantzler it sucks to lose a guy like this.

^ Ben Leber has a really good interview with Kyle Rudolph. He asked Rudy if he would be willing to take a pay cut and he flat out said no. Rudy still thinks he can play at a high level and thinks he is worth every dime of his contract. This is looking like the year we move on from Rudy.

Rudy said all the right things for his future market. I think he knows that it's likely done in MN, which sucks, but it has to be done. We have two guys that are younger, cheaper, and have more upside in our offense.

The Vikings have treated their players great and with fairness imo. Rudy got a pretty nice contract extension a few years ago when some did not think it was warranted. With us having to cut cap space I just don't see any other way around it.

Love Rudy. He was a very good player at his peak, but he is massively overpaid now. He needs to go. Wouldn't even want him to restructure. Irv is miles better and needs to start, and I'd even prefer Conklin over him.

Yep agreed. Conklin & Smith excelled when it was just the two of them. Love Rudy and dude was a great Viking on and off the field.

Keenan McCardell hired as the new WR coach. Sounds like current WR coach Andrew Janocko is going to become the QB coach, replacing Klint Kubiak when he becomes our new OC.

Ok, don't know much about any of them outside of McCardell. I like that we aren't going to see a lot of different faces.
