espn's josina anderson reports long-term contract negotiations between the vikings and s anthony harris are in "the realm of what's necessary to finalize."

twincities.com reported in march that the two parties were "actively discussing" a long-term contract, and it sounds like progress is now being made. The vikings placed the franchise tag on him before free agency began, possibly with the intention of trading him to a safety-needy team. With the 2020 nfl draft just a few days away, it's possible that trade talks pick up again. Harris is expected to command double-digit millions annually.

Ya I want Harris back and for the time being paying two safety's big time money won't be too much of an issue given our CB's are on rookie deals.

Percy Harvin wants to return to the NFL. He is only 31, he is in shape, and mental health in order. Im all for the Vikings brining him back.

What would we have to lose in giving Percy the opportunity to show what he still has? He'd be 32 but with really low miles on him...

Low risk, high reward potential. Probably a league minimum deal . I dont remember if there was bad blood the last time he left here...

Percy would be nice but he'd have a lot of expectations coming here that he probably can't live up to.
Jalen Reager's game looks a lot like Percy from the little bit I've seen

Percy has stated that hed like to join Brady and Gronk in TB. Id gladly take a flier on him here if his mental health is in order.

it's the stylish thing to do at this point I guess....and they'll probably give it a shot because he'd truly fit the bill of what they need to add to that offense

Dalvin Cook is going to participate in the virtual off season program. A contract extension is supposed to heat up soon according to Goessling.

Now that the draft is over, the Vikings roster (especially the defense) is looking pretty young.

    DT: Michael Pierce 27
    DT: Armon Watts 23
    DT: James Lynch 21
    DE: Danielle Hunter 25
    DE: Ifeadi Odenigbo 26
    CB: Mike Hughes 23
    CB: Jeff Gladney 23
    CB: Holton Hill 23
    CB: Cameron Dantzler 21

Plus Barr and Kendricks are 28 and Anthony Harris is 29.

The offense doesn't look too bad either:

    RB: Dalvin Cook 24
    RB: Alexander Mattison 21
    WR: Justin Jefferson 21
    TE: Irv Smith 21
    OT: Brian O'Neill 24
    OT: Ezra Cleveland 21
    C: Garrtt Bradbury 24
    G: Dru Samia 24

    Adam Thielen is 29.

Outside of our kicker/punter, we only have 4 players over the age of 30 (Harry/Reiff/Cousins/Rudy).

I also saw that 54% (or 58% can't recall) of our roster is of drafted talent. Most in the NFL.

Also, it's funny as hell that Hunter is still only 25.
