Yeah, going into the season we could say we're relying on too many new young starters to really be competitive....or we could remember that just a few years ago, we were relying on a lot of new starters...and won the division at 11-5...before Blair Walsh, not one of our young D players, choked the playoff game or who knows how far we might have gone.

Thatís been my big concern this season especially since they are not going to have the camps this year.

true enough....but other teams won't have camps either (tho I get other teams won't have as many rookie/young players they'll be depending as heavily on)

I blame AP as much as I do Walsh. His fumble when we were ahead with a few mins left ****ed us just as much as Walsh.

And that botched snap that we let Russ escape and find a wiiiiide open receiver who ran it down to the 5 yd line or so.

I was pissed at Walsh at the time, and it still sucks. But to put that L solely on him isn't fair imo.

I'm glad...it now forces him to back up last year to get a big contract...and we don't give him one at least unless he does

But he had an equally impressive season the year before. Iím in favor of giving him an extension now. Whatever deal he signs will lower his cap hit this year. Might be able to give us enough money to resign Griffen. If not, more money we can roll over to next season.

well I guess that's true...I wasn't thinking of his 2018 as highly I guess.......so the question is, did he sign the tender because our long term offers haven't been as strong as he'd like, but neither have offers elsewhere? Or are we at least close and he signed the tender because it allows talks to continue.............I'd definitely love to get Everson for another year or two, but somebody's gonna make him an offer soon the longer the Clowney thing continues

Thing is, best case scenario is Cook and Harris have as good or better years than last. Then we will be looking at 10 mil plus at those two positions... Not sure how it will affect our cap next year, but its gotta be pushing us close to the limit again.
