Only caught the end of the Federer match for the semis, but watched both guys' earlier rounds. Think it's going to be a good Finals, Federer looks in a groove. That said, it's Djokovic's to lose IMO.

Was kinda hoping Vinci won. Oh well. As long as it wasn't Serena.

Wanted Federer to win but Novak's been an absolute monster. Novak might end up catching Federer at this rate in grand slams. Certainly can pass Sampras/Nadal.

Easily a guy who can win 4 GS in the next 2 years and tie Sampras/Nadal.

Federer had Nadal. Djokovic has… an aging Fed, a broken down Nadal, and his should-be biggest competition for Slams Murray who can't even keep pace with the older boys in the pack. It's a shame. Fed can't beat him, Nadal isn't around to have the opportunity, and Murray is pooping the bed. Nobody stands in Novak's way. Not trying to take anything away from what he's done, but he's had less resistance in doing it than Fed, which would make it difficult for me to look at him as the pound of pound greatest of all-time should he pass Fed's slam total.

His competitions isn't much different than everyone else. Federer the past 4 years is still better than a lot of GS champs out there in other eras and he'd probably win a few GS in another era. Nadal was on a tear for 2-3 of those years. Murray is better than people give him credit for and would probably be a #1 and multiple grand slam champ in another era.

If you look at their resume, guys like Sampras, Nadal and Federer beat guys who had never won a grand slam before or have low total grand slams (1 or 2).

And even if they are "weak", it shouldn't really affect how you view him really. Novak's GS total would change in another era but so would someone like Federer's or Nadal's.
