    NFL All Time Rules

    NFL All Time Rules

The NFL All-time Re-Draft is a game where every player who has ever played in the NFL is put into a "player pool." Teams are then put into a draft order that is completely random. Teams will go in a "snake style" draft picking players one at a time. This means that the team with the first pick in the first round, will get the last pick in the second round. The draft board will be constantly updated to reflect trades and the latest picks made.

If you miss your 1st pick you will be eliminated from the redraft.

The Draft will consist of 25 draft rounds and 5 OPTIONAL free agency rounds with no order. In the Free Agency round you may drop AND sign any player that has not yet been selected. Free Agency is strictly first come, first serve.

If you are listed as invisible, you are forewarned that you will be treated as being online when your pick comes on the clock. No exceptions.

Every trade must be sent from both sides to killthesux

If a commish believes the trade is questionable, then the trade must be passed through the trade committee that will remain anonymous.

    Decade Requirements

    1920s thru 1950s minimum of 3
    1960s minimum of 3
    1970s minimum of 3
    1980s minimum of 3
1990s minimum of 3- You can draft a 4th player from the 90s but that means you cannot draft a 4th from 2000s/2010s and vice versa
    2000s/2010s minimum of 3- read the 90s

If you are drafting a current player, they must have a minimum of 5 years played in the NFL

    Trade format:

    Team 1 sends:
    Round 2, pick 14
    Round 3, pick 28

    Team 2 sends:
    Round 1, pick 8
    Round 6, pick 20
Every team is required to create a team clubhouse that should be updated throughout the draft.

The Roster for the Re-Draft Will be:

    1 HC
    1 QB
2 RBs or 1 RB and 1 FB
    2 TE
    3 WR
    2-T
    2-G
    1-C

    2 DE Pending on Scheme
    1-2 DT Pending on Scheme
    2 OLB
    2 ILB Pending on Scheme
    3 CB
    2 S

This year we've decided since this is an all time, your defense may take any shape you desire. So you will be more then welcome to construct a 46 or 5-2 and move away from the traditional 4-3 and 3-4 sets.

*Even though you have many options on the offensive side of the ball please remember that this draft will only be 25 rounds and you will get five open roster spots to fill. All positions must be filled or you will be DQ'd.

This year, we will allow up to five two-way players. This means that you can have up to five guys that play a starting spot on each offense and defense. This will affect how many players you can sign in the post-draft rounds. For example, if you choose to list two guys as two-way players, you will only be able to pick up three guys in post-draft free agency instead of five. You don’t have to list a guy as a two-way player when he is drafted necessarily, but if you choose to list them as one on your depth chart after you have already filled out thirty spots on your roster, you must cut one player. This will be monitored by the commishes to make sure everyone is in compliance.

    Playoffs TBD

    Some Final Issues/Rules/Reminders

-If you for some reason you will not be on at the time of your pick please send one of us a list of players you would like for us to pick for you. It's a much better option then getting skipped

-You HAVE to PM the GM picking after you. It makes the game go much faster. The clock does not start for the next GM until he has been notified

    Round Skip Times
    Rounds 1-4 6 Hours
    Rounds 5-9 5 Hours
    Rounds 10-14 4 Hours
    Rounds 15-18 3 Hours
    Rounds 19-22 2 Hours
    Rounds 23-25 1 Hour
    Round 26 FFA

-No mentioning undrafted player's names in the Lounge/War Room/Lobby, etc.

If you have any other unanswered questions ask them in here and we will be glad to address them. This game is supposed to be fun so we hope you enjoy it!

Because I'm still a little worried about people skirting the decades rules:

You will have to denote 11 offensive and 11 defensive players as starters by marking them with an asterisk. Your parameters are as follows:

    Offense:
    *1 QB
*No more than 3 backs (HB/TB/WB/FB/RB/whatever)
    *No more than 3 WRs
    *No more than 2 TEs
    *5 OLs

    Defense:
    *No more than 5 DLs
    *No more than 4 LBs
    *No more than 5 DBs

Remember, two-way STARTERS will count twice for your roster limit and your decade requirements. Back-ups DO NOT COUNT TWICE.

Whatever players you mark as starters, plan on them being judged as your PRIMARY players (IE don't list 3 backs as starters and say "well, we will run just as much 3 and 4 WR formations."

Players' listed decades can be fluid throughout the process of the game. Players will only be able to count for a decade if they played the most years of their career in that decade, or within one year (except for extenuating circumstances, which the commishes will examine on a case-by-case basis that must be asked individually).

Please have your players listed with their decades in your clubhouse, particularly by the end of the draft. We will look at every clubhouse at the end of the draft, and before the end of FA, to make sure you're in compliance with the rules before the game is over. No guarantees that we can help you if you don't have players listed with their decades by that point, though.

Quinn said he wanted a Co-GM. If he's okay to go it alone, we can split you two. Either way.
