All-Time Redraft Semifinals: (3) Flint vs (7) Gotham

Each year PSD users on the forum partake in a fantasy snake-draft consisting of all-time players. Players are designated for certain eras based on their peak, and we've used a general 5 year prime to try and rank players overall value (so try and vote based on that 5-year peak as best you can). After the draft, opposing conferences voted for playoff ranking. So, given the two rosters below, if they were to face in real life (with every player in their 5-year prime), which team would win in the 7-game series?

    3. Flint (Home-Court Advantage)
PG: Tim Hardaway - Ron Harper
SG: Vince Carter - Andre Iguodala
SF: Scottie Pippen - Shane Battier
PF: Buck Williams - Brad Daugherty
C: Tim Duncan - Walt Bellamy

    7. Gotham
PG: Terry Porter - Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant - Hersey Hawkins
SF: Ron Artest - Mark Aguirre
PF: Willis Reed - Dan Roundfield
C: Alonzo Mourning - Brad Miller

    Neither team sent in write-ups

On a cruise would like to note our starting line up will be.

    PG: Tim Hardaway
    SG: Vince Carter
    SF: Scottie Pippen
    PF: Buck Williams
    C: Tim Duncan

Scottie will guard Kobe, Buck on Reed, Duncan on Zoe

Wow, this should be very close. Sort of prefer Flint's scoring flexibility though, so they are slightly favored for this tie imo + home court.

I was dying for Buck to start in your last series. Love the move. Def leaning Flint early.

Flint wins. I'd say more but I've already said more than Gotham.

Haven't had time to make a write-up but, here's why Gotham wins.

Porter vs Hardaway I think is an advantage for me

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/...1&p2=portete01

Here's the head2head through both of their primes (89-93) Porter was 10-6 against hardaway averaging 21/8 shooting 43.6% from 3 and 49% from the field. Hardaway gives up alot of size and strength to both of my pg's and will be a liability defensively.

Kobe has had Carter's # through their careers and this position is a huge advantage gotham

I know Carter's not guarding Kobe but Kobe will be guarding Carter alot in this series and can shut him down. 40% from the field 28% from 3 and career 19-6 in head2head matchups before this year.

Reed vs Buck is a HUGE advantage for me, Before injuries slowed him down Reed averaged 24/13.3/2 in the playoffs on 54% ts in much less efficient era. Reed is a 2xFMVP and regular season MVP.
