I honestly thought it was stupid the first go around. I watched it again a year-ish later, and loved it.

    Hubie Halloween

7/10 Spooks in Salem, Mass with the light hearted humor one comes to expect Sandler and the gang.

Shudder has put up a lot of Mario Bava movies so I've been going through those:

Kill, Baby, Kill, The Whip And The Body, Lisa And The Devil: Solid gothic horror movies carried by good performances (Christopher Lee in The Whip And The Body and Telly Savalas in Lisa And The Devil namely), good set and shot design, and creepy atmosphere even if the stories are pretty bland and confusing at times, and the dialogue being mediocre. They are not close to my favorite Bava horror movie, Black Sunday, but they suffice.

A Bay Of Blood: You can see a lot of influence on modern slash movies in this including movies like Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Friday The 13th. As it's own movie it is okay but lacked any solid characters or notable performances. I do appreciate some of the twists and turns it takes but it ultimately ends right where I suspected it would. Unspectacular but worth a watch if you like horror.

    Out Of Sight, 8/10

Fun action flick starting George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez. Thought I had seen it before but turns out I had just seen a scene or two.

    Fatman, 6.5/10

Ridiculous, violent, and comedic Christmas flick that came out a couple weeks ago about a spoiled little kid putting a hit out on Santa, played by Mel Gibson. The hit man is played by Walter Goggins who is quite entertaining in the role.

On Golden Pond 6.5-7/10 cheesy 80's movie, but good. I believe this was Henry Fonda's last film.
12 Monkeys (rewatch) 4.5-5/10 it was ok, nothing great
The Maze runner 4.5-5/10 first time I saw it and it was ok and will look for the other 2.
Saints and Soldiers 2/10 low budget war movie
The Way Back (rewatch) 7/10 good acting and well written.
Hacksaw Ridge 6.5-7/10 Garfield really bothered me in this movie and I really don't know why. His accent drives me nuts.
The Dead don't die 2/10 dumb, got a 2 because I like a few actors

    Straight Outta Compton-7/10

I do find it funny/ironic that Easy E died of aids when he was on Howard Stern Howard asked him if he was afraid of getting it because he was with so many women. He just laughed it off and said no.

    Warrior-6/10

I didn't like it as much as other people did.

    Zodiac-8.5/10

Loved it. Crazy that it was never solved.
