Consider me surprised that I liked this movie at all. The original Annabelle was a hollow and boring jump scare fest while its sequel tried to be a tad more atmospheric while also having a little too many jump scares for my taste. This continues the trend that A2 set up with a lot of atmosphere instead of jump scares including some well executed sequences early on. The end falls into the trappings of the original with jump scares but some are earned so it is not entirely annoying though noticable. The crux of the story I liked too, there is a reason why these things are happening, even if it is a bit thin. The way the movie comes to an end is appreciated as opposed to the usual bland end scare/set up. Not bad, the best of the Annabelle bunch for whatever that is worth. Now on to Midsommar!
    Iíll give about the same.

what is wrong with you? That is a 9.3/10 at bare minimum

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Donít think is 10/10 but that was a good movie, first time I though of Bill Hader as a good dramatic actor.

    Midsommar: 7.5/10

I do think the movie starts to drag a bit in middle (and let's face it, if you have seen another specific movie you will have an idea of how this plays out) and does not have the same amount of thrilles/tension that hereditary had imo but overall still a pretty interesting, uncomfortable at times, and engaging watch.

Iíd rank it about the same. Absolutely loved this one. Spider-Man has always been my favorite character and the fact they are finally using his most well known ability is awesome.

I just have no idea where theyíre going with the franchise now. Well a little bit of an idea but those end credits just left so much out there.
