That is true. I guess because I had only seen the 2 Rocky movies before it, it was still somewhat fresh to me. Rocky IV is great for the soundtrack and Drago but its definitely a product of its time. Granted, I wasn't alive when they came out (aside from Rocky V) but I remember seeing the first 5 on VHS back in the day and the only one I didn't like was Rocky V. I like the 5th one more now than I did then. Rocky Balboa was a nice homage as well.

Creed was amazing. Creed II, I thought was solid as well although they could have picked someone else as the antagonist other than Drago's son. Felt too contrived. Creed III just sucked imo outside of Johnathan Majors.

I am 47, so I literally grew up with 80-90s action (lucky me, and I mean that).

To this day, I can't watch 20 seconds of Rocky IV without dropping to the ground and doing pushups. Half the movie is just a workout scene to inspiring music haha.

To top it off, Rocky ended the cold war in that movie...

I've warmed up to Rocky V since the first time I saw it. I like the backstory of Rocky losing everything and having to reconnect with his kid when his relationship with Tommy Gunn became more important. Adonis had a lot more layers to his character than Tommy Gunn though. Not to mention, the whole George Washington Duke thing is dumb imo.

I actually liked Rocky V more than I liked Creed III.

The original Rocky is arguably the best movie ever made. Its at least in the conversation.

Scream 6 - 6/10 While I have enjoyed the scream franchise and I did enjoy this installment somewhat the one thing that bothered me is that is taking a page from the fast and furious franchise. When you see the movie you will see what I mean.

Shazam 2: 3/10.

I don't know if James Gunn can save the DCEU/DCU universe. Shazam 2 sucks, which was preceded by the suckage of Black Adam, which was preceded by the suckage of WW2, etc, etc. I mean serious, I think DC should stop making non-Animated films.

Ambulance 7/10 not a fan of Michael Bay usually and some of the slow mo and angles etc are kind of annoying but I enjoyed this overall. Nice action flick with solid acting.

I still want to see Batgirl. I don't understand why they don't at least put it on HBO Max, it is completed.
