    Coffee Town, 3/10

Oof....this was painfully bad. Thought it might be a pretty good, goofy comedy as the three leads are are all from modern comedies that I really enjoy (Always Sunny, Eastbound & Down, and Parks & Rec). Took some effort to even find a stream of it. I don't think I laughed once while watching it.

    Year One, 7/10

Pretty funny period comedy starring Jack Black & Michael Cera as a couple of Neanderthal type nitwits trying to find their place in Biblical era times.

Well written, well cast. Tom Hanks gave another great performance.

Haven’t seen this version, but the original Swedish movie and book it’s based on is very good.

the best part is when he is carrying 300 lbs of crap through the enemy camp, and 2 guys in the tower are shooting at him with machine guns (obviously missing), and he just sets his crap down, turns, and blows them both away with a quick double tap of his gun.

The pure cheesy-ness of 80-90s action flicks can't be beat.

    "Let off some steam Bennett...."

    Finally saw Wakanda Forever.

7.5-8/10 Very fun movie with a very strong opening set up and conclusion. I do see the Namor complaints of him being written as another Killmonger but I loved the performance. Tenoch Huerta killed it, he kept the god like composure without hamming it up. A few other additions felt supplementary or a maguffin to get the story moving and setting things up for later while not being a true, necessary part of the film. Still, easily the best thing the MCU has produced since Endgame imo (though Werewolf By Night was close).

Big difference is Killmonger does things for him, Namor for his people and Namor really did not want to fight.

is that because you like the quasi political message of those first 2?

Arguing action movies is awesome, because you can't go wrong..
