This interview will bring you up to date with everything JDS.
1. He said he wants to fight a long time.
2. He wants a 4th fight with Cain
3. He doesn't like overreem
And many more
Due to complications with Hall's visa, the middleweight bout between @UriahHallMMA and @JotkoMMA is off #UFCBerlin http://t.co/ULKS4GQEYS

I just went back and watched Brock vs Cain. Brock won the first 2 minutes of that fight but he was gassed soon after. Normally Cain is the stronger guy but in the first 2 minutes of that fight Brock showed a small edge in strength. Brock looks totally gassed at the 2:40 mark. I do not know if could be fully healthy and in shape while gassing out so fast. Brock went for a take down and missed then stumbled and spun across the ring despite not really being hit. That did not look like a guy in fight condition.

I was just reading about Donald Cerrone. The guy has had 10 fights in 2 years. That is almost a fight every other month. That seems pretty rare for a guy at his level.

I would have liked to see him fight a few more guys before his illness so we could have a better idea of Brocks ceiling. Before his illness it was hard to imagine anyone stopping his power double leg. Even after his illness when he was a shell of himself he was able to take down Cain and Carwin. Not too many other people have.

anyone who knows anything about mma will tell you lesnar's standup was atrocious, you cant be a great fighter if you suck at stand up, especially when you hate getting hit, which he did. if lesnar got into mma in early 20s or earlier, then maybe he could have been great.
stop blaming it on the illness, once again, he recovered 100%, physically anyway.

He was clearly not the same fighter when he came back but he was still only a one trick pony. You could compare him to Tito really. Good takedowns, great cardio, good gnp. Although Brocks takedowns were amazing comparatively and Titos standup was betteryou get my point though. At the end of the day, he had some of the best takedowns we have seen and he could go for hours, at the beginning, but the Cain's and JDS's of the world would have gotten around that I believe.
He would have been a guy that would win 2 or 3, lose 1, maybe get another streak together but he would always hover outside the top 5. I do agree if he was able to start much earlier he could have developed his standup and made it somewhat acceptable and been a guy who could have really dominated the sport. Although I would have loved to see him be able to stay around longer, I am not sure his career would have been much different at this point, healthy or not.

lol what are you talking about, he was still bigger than carwin even after the surgery. the illness was serious, the doctors and ufc take it very serious, and allowed him to fight, cause he recovered a 100%
you think the ufc would allow a fighter to fight if he was seriously injured still? **** no, if you get a concussion you're not allowed to fight for months.
btw he still beat carwin after the surgery, showed great stamina also lol. then lost to cain, cause cain is a much much better fighter..
