We only won 116 games in 2001 without him
Dave Niehaus, the greatest broadcaster in baseball history, was born on this date in 1935.
Happy 60th birthday to the Mariners' first All-Star, Ruppert Jones!
There is some good news to report, which has become such a rare thing, but one of the suits that has a tendency to draw our ire, Kevin Martinez, tweeted over the weekend that the Mariners will only wear their ugly teal shirts only during Friday home games, instead of both Monday & Friday, as they have done the past several years.
I really enjoy how you assume everyone in the world agrees with you.
I like Martinez and the teal jerseys

Same. He and his guys do a great job, and I'm a huge fan of the teals. I feel like every time Phantom posts its some kind of assumption that everyone is on his side.
Why would people hate Kevin Martinez? Marketing is not an area of the FO id waste a lot of thought on
and whats the point of this thread?
it looks like a place that PD uses to post random thoughts that pop in his head. odd, but whatever
That's exactly what it is.
Yeah what the ****Never scrolled up to notice.
Very nice, but 116 wins don't mean a thing, without a ring.Originally Posted by Seattle4Ever:29611548
Enjoy them while can. I have a feeling that Mariners are slowly phasing out teal. The ugly new cream uniforms were telegraphed over two years ago from the Ebbets Field Flannels facebook post, the King's Court utilizes the old color scheme, the dropping of teal from Monday games, it's not the early nineties anymore. It's one of the things we can look forward to. Now, if you're only 19, you have existed knowing only teal, that's too bad.Originally Posted by jej:29743569
I can't stand the teal. It's ****ing hideous.
