It was just odd to see a team with Clemson's caliber crumble like that. Shows you just how good/special LSU was this year. Burrow is just ****ing ridiculous.

Lawrence is still the guy you trade multiple picks for.

    we ain't tankin'

I'll admit, all year I've heard about Burrows, and all year I thought the guy had to be overrated. I mean he never sniffed the starting job at Ohio State, didn't do all that much last year his first as a starter, and was projected as a Rd 3-4 pick.......this year may just be an abberation

Last night was no abberation...kid's legit, the Bengals will love him

Gotta be because of concussions. I read he only suffered two in his career but they caused him to miss 10 games. This reminds me of Borland retiring a few years ago.

there may only have been 2 officially diagnosed, but he likely had others...they'd never catch all of them

I've only had one diagnosed concussion, beaned by a fastball in junior high.
But I'd bet I had 2 others, in my case not diagnosed because there were other injuries at the same time- broke my arm in a fall, my clavicle in a motorcycle spill...the concussions were likely minor, but the focus was on the broken bones.

With football players, I'd be surprised if a lot of them don't get minor concussions they don't even realize themselves.

Promote Patterson to DC and hire Buckner to coach the DL.

I've heard that seeing "stars" is technically a concussion. Some people are built differently and might not see many but in highschool football I probably had close to 20. Only 1 time I can recall where I just blacked out. I apparently went into the other teams huddle lol. Was playing TE and wnt across the middle and got whacked by the MLB. That hit ****ing hurt but I stayed in the game.

the one diagnosed concussion I had was the one time I did NOT black out.......got beaned, just sat on the dirt and watched the world spin for awhile...........the 2 others (doubt I had others) I was knocked out in the fall....once for just like 30 seconds, the other for minutes....or at least my memory 'outage' was like 10 minutes (don't remember the fall, just remember looking up at ambulance drivers).

Just listened to the podcast Gladiator which is about Aaron Hernandez. Watched episode 1 of the Netflix series about him last night too.

Podcast was really good. It's very fascinating/odd/scary to see how someone can just flip. In the podcast they talk about his CTE, which was very bad, but they would not tie him being a murderer to CTE. Which, is fair because all the other research of those were CTE there was not common theme of them being a murderer.

    Anyways, highly recommend.
