    I'm done with this fantasy league I'm in. I think I'll join this forum's league next year.

    A team acquired Sale for Lowrie, Porcello, and Dickerson, another team hasn't met their innings requirement all season, another team tried to sell his team to other players because he's bored it.

    Since the US and Italy didn't qualify, my third team is Germany. I was pretty salty after today since I hate Mexico.

    I'm hoping Belgium go far. I want to see Hazard and Courtois do well. And hope Iceland put on a good showing and they have so far.

    Football (soccer) is hugely popular here. The Thais like the EPL and English teams especially for some reason. Lots of Man U and Liverpool fans here, and Thailand's ex-PM once owned Man City. (Thrown out for corruption I think, haha!) Thai beer companies are big sponsors as well, Chang and Singha signs everywhere, even on some uni's.

    I don't normally watch regular games, but at the World Cup level of play (later rounds at least) I can enjoy it, and have seen some good games over the years. Best players in the world competing for country pride can be a pretty compelling watch in any sport.

    And I am truly amazed by this guy Messi (Argentine I believe, not sure where he plays pro ball. Spain maybe?), who is like the Wayne Gretzky of soccer. Amazing talent and really cool to watch if you can catch his games.

    Other than that... b-o-r-i-n-g!
