Well, much as I predicted... trade deadline passed with much ado about nothing.

The real fun doesn't start until the draft order has been set.

SI: Statistics suggest Joel Embiid will fully recover from foot surgery. But it could be 9-12 months before he plays http://bit.ly/1qwZuIB

Glen Davis to be bought out of his contract with Magic maybe we will see a reunion with the C's

I would love to see him back in green

No logic whatsoever bringing him here .We already have to many players in PF position and Davis since that foot injury has never been the same .
Basketball is like war in that offensive weapons are developed first, and it always takes a while for the defense to catch up.

I don't think a < 11% chance of landing in the top 3 is favorable (and that's if we finish 5th), sorry. Chances are we'll have < 6% chance of getting into the top 3 at the 7-8th worst record. If you think a < 6% chance is realistic chance of getting a top 3 pick, I don't know what to tell you.

    Off topic.

Let's see in July you wrote:

How does rondo only get up for big games. He averages better numbers on nonnational games
As I said then, it's false. Here are the numbers (as of 3/13/13):

-- NAT TV - LOCAL TV

    PPG 16.1 13.0
    RPG 06.8 05.3
    APG 10.2 11.6
    STL 02.3 01.8
    BPG 00.5 00.2
    FGA 13.7 11.6
    TO 03.6 04.1

I said rondo is a top five pg
Rondo hasn't been a top 5 PG since 2008-2009 and perhaps 2009-2010, please provide evidence to the contrary - if you can.

And who could forget this genius post by you:

Oh and bagwell FYI rondos best numbers where his best last three years he has averaged a double double the past four. That's the numbers of an elite pg to me. Yea last season was cut short but was on pace to shatter any of his seven seasons. Lay off rondo he is a celtic
Who could forget the "brilliant" 11.4/11.0 double/double the last 3 years when among PG's with more than 1200 minutes played he was in the bottom 2-3 in shooting (combined FG/3PT/FT) each year. You do get that when a player misses a shot and his team doesn't get the rebound (the C's have been a poor offensive rebounding team in these years) - it's a turnover? In todays NBA an 11.4/11 player with Rondo's poor efficiency is not elite, not even close.

Lay off Rondo he is a Celtic? Oh please. That's for 14 year olds...

Then of course there is your belief that Pierce is better than KG
I would like garnett stats against also pierces for that matter.
    KG: -------------------------------------------------------------- PP:

1st team All Defense (9 times; 2nd team All Defensive (3 times; PP has zero All Defense Awards
    1st All NBA (4 times);2nd All NBA (3 times);3rd All NBA (2 times); 2nd NBA (1 time); 3rd All NBA (3 times)
    11th rebounds (14153); 115th (6873)
    49th assists (5296); 75th (4434)
    11th Steals (1782); 26th (1633)
    20th Blocks (2006); 154th (693)
    18th Points (25588); 24th (24648)
    22nd turnovers (3107); 15th (3312)
    14th MVP Shares (2.753); 108th (.040)
    9th Win Shares (188.3); 29th (141.4)

Here you go, Garnett is a top 15 player all time, PP is at about 30th. They are both almost done, so that's where they end up. Hard to find anyone outside of a passionate green teamer that thinks PP > KG.

Any possibility this thread could be shut down...??? The deadline passed but the bickering continues...

Better that baby be with Doc rather than with Steven's...
