which players would benefits most from a more physical NBA?

I think we can all agree that there are far too many fouls called and we spend much more time watching players shooting FT than we would like.

Which players would benefit most if they stop calling all the touch fouls and let players be more physical similar to the 90's?

I think Melo would be a top 5 player in such a scenario. He gets hacked, A LOT and he finishes through contact better than most players without having the benefits of star calls the likes of which Lebron and KD benefit from. A more physical game wouldn't affect the way he plays much. He is pretty good at avoiding contact and playing around it. Same imo with Griffin. He takes some hard hits already. Wouldn't change much for him.

I think a more physical game would swing the game back more in the favor of skilled players vs the athletic ones. Right now the game rewards athletic and acrobatic gifts over talent and skill because if you are fast and/or can jump high you have a huge chance at being a star in the game.

Sig bet with FriedTofuz or whatever his name is (I'm on my phone so it's too tedious to go find his exact name) that if the Nets lose to the Raptors I will delete my account and if the Raptors lose he will delete his (lol Raptors fans are so cute).

Wouldn't be anything more than an average NBA SG imo if the game got more physical.

Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko come to mind. Guys like Tony Allen and Avery Bradley as well

If the NBA was more physical it would definitely benefit the Warriors. If the NBA was more physical, the Warriors would sweep the Rockets in 4 games in the playoffs.

    Danny Fortson.

    Maybe Reggie Evans.

Nene? Bogut? Robin Lopez. Dwight. Dejuan Blair? MWP? Pekovic. Drummond & Sullinger. I'd also have to say Hibbert and Lance, with a side of David West

    Certainly not Stephen Curry.
