    @Brew

    Did you mean Josh McCown?

You have Luke McCown... He got his chance here. I wouldn't want him back.

Given his youth and production so far, he could net us at least a 4th round pick.

IMO Clayborn can play the 5 tech in a 3-4 so that'd possibly give us more suitors for a potential trade

Bowers could be on his way out as well..

At first, I thought a 5th and a 7th wasn't enough to move up. But it seems that is actually just right (according to the draft value chart). I would absolutely do this. You're really making me want Sammy Watkins more than ever now...

If you look at the way we've been playing this FA situation out. I think the Bucs have their eye on Sammy. Lovie was at Sammy's Pro Day.. I wont be surprised to see him come in for a private work out in the next few weeks.

    Mock Draft

    1. Greg Robinson, OG, Auburn
    2. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU
    3. Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State
    5. Jordan Zumwalt, ILB, UCLA
    7. Tom Savage, QB, Pittsburgh

    theme: BPA

Greg Robinson: Run blocking mauler who needs to develop as a pass protector and has the potential to become an elite LT down the road, he'll serve as a all pro caliber guard in the meantime

Odell Beckham: Fast receiver with leaping ability and return skills

Jack Mewhort: swing tackle who can play all 5 spots on the OL

Jordan Zumwalt: developmental LB who will make an immediate impact on special teams

Tom Savage: developmental QB for Tedford, his name has been rising up draft boards

    •Draft Day Trades•

SF traded up 23 slots to the 7th pick, Buccaneers acquire their 2nd, both of their 3rd rounders and 2015 1st round pick.

BUCS trade up with SD in the 1st round. They pick swap in the 3rd round, SD receives the TEN 3rd round pick acquired from SF while the BUCS move down with SD's 3rd rounder.

Traded Mike Glennon to TEN (acquired their 2015 3rd round pick)

I was gonna add the 8 practice squad players but I'll just add the 53 man roster for now

I'll probably comeback later and explain the draft choices..

    EDIT: ^^^

Derek Carr - Franchise QB in the making, nobody in this draft class rivals his arm talent (velocity) and arm strength, though you can make an argument with three other QB's (Johnny Manziel, Zach Mettenberger and Tom Savage) Sit him behind Josh McCown for a year or two and let Tedford/Arroyo bring him along, getting him use to the speed at the next level, refining his overall game. His Jay Cutler/Matthew Stafford mechanical flaws plus his pocket awareness will get cleaned up by our staff and when Carr's ready to right the ship, skies the limit.

Brandin Cooks - This dynamic playmaker is the definition of "speed in space" he's a team captain that has never missed a game at any level. Not only does he offer big play ability on offense but can contribute on kick/punt returns as well.

Troy Niklas - Inline blocking TE that has the size and ability to be featured as a Joker TE at the next level. We have the TE guru in Jon Embree to groom Niklas in becoming an all around elite TE.

Billy Turner - Love this kid's game! Bully with a mean streak, he's a tackle but can be an absolute mauler inside at guard and could possibly develop into a starting LT down the road. He already had a private workout with our BUCS.

Weston Richburg - Solid all around prospect.. Who's a decent athlete, has good functional strength (still needs to add weight/bulk) with plus technique but has room for improvement when it comes to that as well. If Carl Nicks can't go, has issues midseason, etc. EDS can move to LG with ease and Richburg can take the Center position.

Telvin Smith - Elite athleticism, can rush the passer, cover receivers and TE's and has a ton of room to grow. I see him being a standout in special teams year 1 and in year 2 push Mason Foster as the starter in the middle.

Seantrel Henderson - Like Demar Dotson, he's a former basketball player. He defiantly needs to get coached up at the next level, he failed to match the hype when coming out of high school. Underachiever with untapped potential, we need a swing tackle for depth and believe he can fit that role while he develops. He has red flags against him, could possibly fall to the 7th round or go undrafted due to inconsistent play and those suspensions he received

Albert Wilson - Another speed in space type receiver who has a scheduled visit coming up with our BUCS
