I see why you like Reddish. Watched him play Tues. For me, it depends where we are with our first pick. Deadline is today. I expect trades to be done where we would lose our vets who helping us win (aka Lin & Dedmon). I'm for trading Prince if gains are good. I do expect a lot of transactions today in the NBA especially with the Sixers looking better (they need bench upgrades tho). Seems most contending teams would benefit with who we have. I'm hoping Prince, Bazemore, Dedmon, Lin, Dorsey and Pumlee all are on another team this evening. Not only what we net from them but also to lose more games for higher draft picks...

I can see a Dedmon and Lin trade for Fultz. It would deepen their bench, which they desperately need and also wouldn't take risk in Fultz not being back normal self when he returns...

4 tradable assets, cap room, and you don’t do anything? Seriously, we’re tanking, but winning games do to solid Vets, and you don’t pick either direction?

Completely clueless!!! When I saw Fultz being traded as headline, I immediately thought it was the Hawks that got him. Nooooooooo....
WTF??!! They supposedly have been bringing excitement to Hawks fans on their rebuild/future and then this?? I'm speechless...

I am to.... However it may be similar to last year when he got vets to accept the trade or contract, by making a side deal to only trade them to their preferred destination.

    What else could it be?

Where we stand today, let's say we get 5th and 6th pick, without the hope we get higher with our 1st pick (Barrett or Morant would be nice!). We get Reddish and Hayes. Here's I'm thinking heading to future with them 2 picks:

    Reddish
    Collins
    Hayes
    Young
    Huerter

    Prince
    Spellman
    Len
    Bembry
    Carter (yes, please!)
    Adams
    2nd rd pick
    2nd rd pick
    2nd rd pick

Let Baze and Dedmon go. Maybe combine 2-2nd rd picks move up in draft. Get best shooter(s) available and draft another big or maybe sign via fa...

Still gonna need couple of years of developing but think we have a bright future with this roster.

Like to hear your feedbacks on this and if you have something else in mind, share...

I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up with # 1..... if McGrady is correct and Zion does not want to play in A big market, Atlanta would be the absolute best compromise. The NBA does not want this future superstar in a super small market like what it has gone through with Davis. And let’s not pretend the NBA does not rig its drafts. So I’m still holding out that we get Zion number one and Reddish at # 6.

However if we end up at 5 and 6, I’d go Reddish and BPA.... while I think we are turning the corner faster than anyone thought, with John and Tra looking like future AS, I don’t think we are good enough or far enough along to limit to any position of need. Hypothetically we land at 2 and Morant is on the board, do you pass him up? Is it a forgone conclusion you trade the pick? Do you think about trading Tra? IDK, I think you have to give all three serious consideration. And if you have to think about trading your best player in his rookie deal, you’re not at the point where you pass up talent, so you have to go BPA. That’s another reason why Cam appeals a lot for me, kid could play 3 possible positions. We may need that versatility sooner rather than later.

    Geez, I hope you're right...

    Prince
    Collins
    Williamson
    Young
    Reddish

Just don't know about Prince anymore. Was 2nd half of last season a fluke? Just not the same player this year. If we got Williamson and Reddish, trade Prince and future 1st for a decent, if not all star potential SF...

If we land 2nd pick, I don't know. Trae just keeps looking better. Pull a trade with 3rd pick and future pick and draft Barrett, maybe?

I wasn’t a fan of drafting Prince! However I do think he’s in the wrong roll for us. As a 3 and D he has potential. As the playmaker and one on one player he’s attempting to be, I don’t see it. If we are lucky enough to get Zion and Cam, I’d definitely consider packaging him and Cle first for a legitimate AS caliber small forward. My only fear in getting Zion is John may not want to play the 5. That wouldn’t stop me from drafting Zion as he has more talent, but it’s hard for me to gauge what would be a fair return for John if he doesn’t want to play the five. So if I had to dream it up.... Collins, Cle first, and Prince for Ben Simmons. But would Ben agree to be a secondary playmaker and not the lead?

As far as Tra.......YES he has certainly improved and IMPRESSED as the season has gone on. However Morant has significantly more upside as a defender, attacker, and finisher. Tra as a playmaker and shooter. I haven’t made the hard decision that I would definitely draft Morant, just that everything would have to be considered. I don’t think we are strong enough at any position that we can pass on anybody without considering moving that player.

If another team the Bulls for example are desperate enough to give up their top five pick ( and Barrett is still on the board) plus an unprotected pick to get Morant, that’d be in heavy consideration. But that depends on where the bulls pick is.

Call me crazy, but I would trade our 2 1st picks for #1 and draft Williamson. The guy is look too good and so ready for the NBA. If anything, I would be concern of injuries bc of his size. It's a risk I'm willing to take. From there, fill in holes via FA or trades, not to mention we have least 3 2nd round picks.

    Prince
    Collins
    Williamson
    Young
    Huerter

    Len
    Spellman
Carter (wants play another year so sign him)
    Bembry

The best that can happen is landing #1 and 6th pick, worst, lose Dallas' pick and I believe 9th pick would be our 1st pick. Keep fingers crossed hoping for the best possible scenario to help with our rebuild quicker...
