Just my proposal
D .... is a combo guard that went nuts in Vil championship run.
Thon is a long athletic talented big, who’s still super raw. With concerns that his age may not be legit.

Dedmon for Fultz? Hawks should definitely go that trade. Even if they have to add Lin or Bembry.
Do they have their pick?i think Bos owns the better of their first round picks. The drawback I see is Prince can net a first on his own, possibly with only partial lottery protections considering his age and being the 3 and D teams covet these days. Lin could possibly also net a late first from a contender. So I don’t know that we dump all our tradable assets in one trade. But that depends on if the Hawks think they can rebuild the former#1 pick.
A Young and Fultz back court would be very interesting. Maybe an unprotected pick in 20’ would convince the Hawks to put all eggs in one basket?

Good points. Lin still has another year on his contract. Playing too good to play off bench or can be a very solid backup PG. If we can get a late first, GREAT! I do like him tho.
Forgot about Philly's 1st round picks next season. Yes, Bostom owns it. 2020 or 2021 would be fine. Keep loading up on youngsters as we go.
If we could snag Fultz (don't see why not) and he turns out to be what we expected out of him, holy moses, we would just be stacked, I mean STACKED with what we have (Young, Huerter and Collins) with all future picks. Just looks promising...
Someone I've been keeping my eyes on is Culver. Guy keeps getting better. If I'm not mistaken, he's 6'5" and can slide over to SF. Don't know if he would still be available with the Dallas pick.
I like to keep Collins at PF. He's just too good. Before this season and during first part while he was out, I wanted him at C. Not any more. He's a star. Keep him at PF. With that in mind, shoot for a big. If we get a third 1st round pick, would like to use it for that. Len would be great off the bench.
Huerter is another surprised pick. He can defend 1, 2, and 3. He adjusted well and will only get better. Put him at SG to play alongside with Young.
Young, I wanna talk about him. He's good. He's getting criticism bc of Donic. Hey, is Donic the better player? The guy just lights out and no doubt do I believe he'll win ROY. He's already looking like a star. I like the guy and am pulling for him. Well deserved, sorry Ayton. Now back to Young, not sure why people are beating up on the Hawks' move to get Young. Young already proved what he's capable. It seems Peirce is getting ahold of him more while he's taking fewer shots but making more of them. Young looks more relaxed now. Been showing off his ball handling skills all season long. He's great! I love what I'm seeing out of him. He'll get better. He fits our plan perfectly. Oh, don't forget that 1st round pick too!!!
All in all, if I can choose, get Williamson! He and Collins together just would make us look very intimidating! Throw in Young who can shoot anywhere, Huerter on outside perimeter and another shooter (Culver?) and the floor would be well spread out with threats. A 280lb athletic beast just would look scary...
Yeah, yeah, yeah... GET ZION! Of course, but the balls will fall where they fall. The team with the #1 Ball gets ZION. So, let's not have faith in that scenario, let's be realistic. The Hawks have a long way to go. I don't see any BIG STARS coming to the Hawks via free agency. Yes, the Hawks have money, so do The Knicks, Lakers, and a few other teams. We need to draft another great BIG! We also need a dominant force in the center of the floor (SF), we could use another shooting point guard. 3 NEEDS!
Cam Reddish is still my guy, even though he has struggled in his role at Duke. I think the length, Athleticism, playmaking, and defense will all play up in the NBA. He has struggled with his shot and scouts are still saying he one of the best shooters in the nation. His confidence is struggling, however I wouldn’t pass on the talent. I no longer compare him to McGrady. But I still see slot of Paul George/ Joe Johnson.
The Hawks have 50 + Mil in cap space this off season. I think they should throw a max contract at restricted FA KP, to make Dallas match. If they balked at matching with KP coming off injury. A starting line-up of....
Young
Huerter
Reddish
Collins
Porzingis
Would be very interesting offensively!
KP’s contract would run out right when extensions for Young and Huerter would kick in. Just a thought.
When do we have to start looking in extending Collin's contract? Options start on 3rd year, correct? How does that work?
Our Hawks should definitely entertain the rumored Fultz for Dedmon and Lin trade. If it’s true that he has grown an inch or two, he could slide in and play some two. Make the trade, draft Reddish and Bol ( or best available with the Dal pick), draft Tre Jones with whatever pick you get for Bazemore ( Yes Dukes pg, his defense can only help Tra improve), Draft Wiseman in 20’ and we should be off to the races! Let Fultz, Huerter, and Reddish battle it out for the 2 and 3.
Young/Jones
Fultz/ Huerter
Reddish/????
Collins/Spellman
Wiseman/ Bol
Find a vet PG, Wing, and Big to fill out the roster! 4 of the five started could be exceptional defensively. 5 outa 5 when Jones comes in. 4 outta 5 with good 3pt ***** got their position. 5 out of five when Huerter enters the game. I’d like this very much!!!!
