Hoops rumors.com list Phi as one of the teams interested in Milsap. Interesting! Noel and picks could get that done.

And now introducing the Kings as "Very interested in Milsap"! The Kings are likely the team most in need of Milsap and his leadership. They also may be the team most desperate to make a playoff push with Cousins and Gay both tiring and complaining of not winning. Since I don't think they'll trade us Cousins for Milsap ( and is pull the trigger if they would),...... I'll go with some combination of McLemore, Labissere, Stien, and they're unprotected 18'pick. While none of these guys have worked out, all have significant upside, heck the 18 pick might be the best part. All that said, it accomplishes sending Milsap west and gives us long term building blocks that should be able to contribute this year ( keeping us relevant) and a hopeful star in 18. If I talked you into it, hold up a min! I saved the worst for last, we'll have to take back a salary dump to make it work money wise and they may also want Muscala ( who's playing well IMHO) to strengthen their playoff push.
With Tor getting Serge and Love getting hurt...... I wonder if a certain eastern conf team gets a little itchy and would give up at least one of those BK pick and players for Mlsap. Hell Cle itself may come calling.
#3 Bagley
#19 DiVincenzo
#30 Simmons
#34 Duvall
If Schroder is not traded.
I rather they select Jackson or Bamba…
Would love to trade our 19 and later picks or Shroder to move up and select Young...
Prince
Young
Collins
Jackson or Bamba
Bazemore
If we pass on Bagley got Bamba we will regret it worst than passing on Paul for Williams! IMOH!
Bagley will always be the hardest worker on the floor with All star talent to boot. Bamba has incredible size, but there have already been questiones about his motor and with that size he should have been far more dominant in college.
Not gonna argue there but Bamba has def shown what he's about around the rim. You would pick Bagley bf Jackson? What's your take on Jackson? Also, Young? I have been back and forth with Bamba and Jackson for the third pick, while hoping to trade up to grab Young. Reason I have Bamba at 3, if we were able to get Young, is to add leverage to Young's D. As they say, Offense what wins basketball games, so if that's the case, grab Bagley or Jackson (younger and more all around player) and move up and grab Young. That's explosive power their to their O...
Prince (2nd half of last season played great, oh, and the 3ssss)
Collins (playing alongside with one of the 2 bigs would create such a duo)
Young (scoring machine despite small frame)
Bagley/Jackson
Bazemore
These guys would spread the floor out really well...

Sorry for the late response. Yes I would have taken Bagley over Jackson. Jackson has the ability to block shots, shoot free throws, and play defense! Bagley was better in almost every other way. Better scorer, better iso, better rebounder, just a more complete offensive player. Yes I know Jackson made a lot of 3’s, but I don’t see him able to get that shot off against more athletic players.
We made the trade for Young! I don’t think he’s Steph 2.0! I think he’s a combination of former Hawks Mike Bibby and Steve Nash. Travis hung his hat on this trade! If we are able to get Redish and Gafford with our first next year, I’ll like where we’re headed.
Is the duo of Young and Collins the upcoming Amar and Steve 2.0? I'll take it! Yeah, I like where we're headed as well. I know it's a pipe dream but 3 picks in top 11 next years would be nice.
Young, Huerty, Dorsey
*Guard*
Collins
Prince
Spellman
Cam Reddish is who we should be targeting!
Would be great if we could get a 1st rounder off Baze and another one packaging Dedmon and Lin. Since we got somewhat of bench depth in Spellman, Huerter, Bembry, Carter (yes, another year! Love this guy!), Len, Dorsey, Brook Lopez (get via FA), etc...
Prince
Collins
Young
Williamson/Barrett
*Best available guard via fa or draft*
Thoughts?
Would love to snag Portis next off-season via fa but I'm sure Bulls will resign him...
I realize RJ and Zion are better players at the moment. I’ve watched almost every Duke gam, A lot of it is that they are more aggressive ( RJ a little to much), Cam’s is more laid back. I think Cam is already very comfortable from 3 and the perimeter oriented game the Hawks seem to be building. I also think he’s more versatile. Long term I look at it like this RJ is a Kobe/ Vince Carter comparable. Vince type movement on the floor, Kobe type confidence and aggressiveness. . Zion Blake/ Larry Johnson/ Josh Smith comparable. Larry Johnson type size, Blake Griffin type game, josh Smith type athleticism. Cam is McGrady/Joe Johnson/ Paul George comparable. McGrady length, size, Athleticism, Paul George type unselfishness and defensive ability, Joe Johnson type shot, game and personality. In today’s nba the shot has to be there for wings, I think that’s his advantage. He’s been slumping lately and still putting up 6 or 7 threes a game and his team mates trust him to do so. Let’s me know they have the confidence in him even when he’s in a slump.
I definitely think it’s easier to imagine RJ and Zion becoming stars st this point. I also think it’s easier to see RJ or Zion becoming bust. I think Cam has the higher ceiling with his shot, I think RJ and Zion have a higher chance at reaching their ceiling with their aggressive nature. In a perfect world we would end up with #1, #6 via Dallas, and number #11 via Clev. Giving us the opertunity to draft RJ or Zion #1 and Cam #6. But if I’m thinking long term I think Cams upside and lack of bust potential make him my guy.
Again I do agree RJ and Zion have a greater chance of reaching their respective high ceilings, than Cam does. However if Cam does, look out!
Im thinking BIG picture over the next to drafts. Any combination that we end up with Reddish this draft and Wiseman in 2020 and I’m happy. I like Huerter, Spellman, and to a lesser extent Prince ( who I think might be traded), but I’d prefer a team where they came off the bench....
Young
Reddish
???
Collins
Wiseman
With a bench consisting of:
Dorsey
Huerter
Prince
Spellman
??????
I do think we get a first or a young player with upside for Baze.
The reason why you guys goofed up (thanks from a Mavs fan) is you didnt draft the guy that can be the definitive best player on a championship level team. Luka Doncic is absolutely that guy. Luka clearly has the upside and all around game to be the best player on a championship team. Thanks again.
