    Saw Austin Meadows mocked to us and Stanek wouldn't mind either one sounds like Meadows could go earlier though lots of upside.

    Yeah, that's what I remember hearing, but haven't heard any updates on what he looks like since the draft, any second thoughts or after thoughts on his defense.

    Love his walk rate more than anything, cuz since he's playing in High Desert his other stats are somewhat bloated and "overrated".

    Well, I'd say his walk rate is probably bloated or overrated as well. He's hitting well overall and might not be getting as good of pitches to hit.

    I'm just skeptical these days. Look at Ackley's walk rates in the minors and compare them to the majors. Night and day

    I don't doubt the walk rate is bloated as well, but its still very encouraging. Its always tempting to throw out any stats from H.D., but good players have to go through there too, and you expect good players to put up really good stat lines, albeit bloated ones.
