The only team that wouldn't worry me is Montreal. It would put a smile on my face to see the Habs get knocked out by us. Personally, I find this season to be a success, we snapped the drought, we made the playoffs, I'm hoping that this will be a sign of good things to come after all the bs we had to endure the last 3 years.

Win out and we have the 4th seed. So long as the Bruins win just one more game.

Welp. Montreal lost again. Looks more likely we'll be playing them in the first round.

Also, a little crazy to think about but if Boston somehow only gets 1 point in their next 3 games and we win out, we will take the division and become the 2nd season.

    Highly unlikely.

I would much rather play Boston and Montreal vs. Capitals and Isles.
Boston and Montreal are really not up to par as they were in the middle of the season, while Caps and Isles are peaking. Also facing Boston (their demons) now and beating them would be a huge momentum swing, same with Montreal.

And I get reminded why I don't drop in to the Blue Jays forum.

McDavid is going nuts right now. If the Leafs do fall (plummet?) to earth next year, a pickup of McDavid would make it more than worth it. TSN boys think he's getting close to "generational talent" status. AND he's a centre... playing with Connor Brown... A Toronto Maple Leaf prospect... destiny?... i think so...**** we got no chance man

Leafs aren't nearly bad enough to get the phenom. McDavid is ****ing incredible but we won't even come close to having a shot. Not that it's a bad thing, the tanking is over.

I see McDavid ending up on the Panthers...they seem a few years away from actually turning it around
